So we've heard a lot about everyone's characters, and we've seen the 100 x 100 little boxes representing their expressions and gestures. but what if that's not enough? here's something to get a little bit more in-depth and personal about your character's mannerisms, voice, height, etc., because it gets kind of crazy repeating it over and over and over!

NAME. Kitty Jones
HEIGHT & BUILD. She's a bit taller than average. By nature slender, though a few lean hard years have made her thin and underweight. Bony rather than curvy. If you see boobs that's probably Bartimaeus pretending to be Kitty, rather than Kitty herself.
DEXTERITY. Right-handed.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. She has dark wavy hair that was cut short in a bob; it's been growing out, and is now getting in her eyes constantly. Her most notable feature is her heavy eyebrows, which are constantly in motion. She's also the sort of person who has one of those chameleonlike faces - she looks quite different on different days, with different make-up, in different moods. Sweet smile. More elegant/cute in appearance than hot/beautiful. Always orderly in appearance. She likes cleanliness and keeping herself nice.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Dresses most of the time like a local girl - poodle skirts and sweaters and kerchiefs when she's trying not to be noticed by adults, leather jackets and hair in curls and greaser capris when she's trying to appeal to people more around her age. When she's on a job - such as breaking into places for information - she's all in black, with a balaclava to cover her features. She is one with the shadows etc.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. She's good at manipulating her physicality in order to go with the persona she's projecting at any given moment. She's very soft and open with her body language when she's the poodle-skirted sweetheart, hands often clasped or holding onto her bag strap. When she's playing the greaser girl, and when she's just being herself, she's tough and aggressive with her body language - arms crossed, feet apart, often gesturing jerkily or even violently to demonstrate a point. She's quite conscious that a skinny poor girl doesn't naturally get much respect, so everything about how she moves is designed to try to demand it.
VERBAL MANNERISMS.She has a London accent. Her parents were strivers, so she naturally speaks a rather polite, educated sort of dialect of British English, but she's adopted something lower-class and rougher as a subconscious mark of her allegiances. When she's trying to seem sweet and nonthreatening she has that middle-class accent; in most situations, she has the less prestigious way of speaking.

NAME. Lord-Governor Kang

APPEARANCE. Draconian form: Kang is large for his particular type of draconian, with a height of seven feet. Build-wise, he's... definitely stocky and muscular, but not comically so, and I put him at ~370-375 pounds. He is humanoid, with a tail, large wings (18 ft span), fangs, claws, yellow eyes with slit pupils, curling horns much like a ram's, and scales (more like a snake than a crocodilian) that have a dark bronze sheen with a tarnished appearance at the edge. Even though he really doesn't see the point in wearing clothing (it's just something draconians picked up from humans, and pockets are useful!), he does typically wear a cloth kilt and tunic that is specially designed to accommodate his wings, but forgoes shoes, as his legs and feet are digitigrade, instead of plantigrade like a human's. He also wears the gold chain that signifies his status as Lord Governor around his neck along with a boot knife in his belt. There is a colorful braided cloth armband, and an iron armband on his right bicep. His right hand is covered in scars, centered mostly on the palm, and the damage heavily suggests that he almost lost two of his fingers; there is also a large scar on his back (right next to his spine), and on the back of his left thigh.



Human form: Still muscular, but he's down to 6'4" in height, just over 215 pounds in weight, and he retains all of the scars of his true form. He looks korean, with dark hair and dark eyes. The clothes he wears in this form are pretty simple: jeans or khakis, t-shirts, sometimes a monocolor button-up shirt, and practical work boots. He keeps the necklace at home, but wears the armbands at almost all times.



DEXTERITY. He's... mostly right-handed, but has learned how to use his left hand fairly well, especially for things that require a fair amount of grip.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Oh snap, I could ramble about body language forever.

Draconian faces are not as expressive as human faces, so when he's in that form, his wings and tail are what you should pay the most attention to. If he's in a good mood, the wings will be held high and relaxed and his tail will loosely move. If he's angry, the wings are high and tense, and there will be some tail lashing. Nervousness/unsettled is the same as angry, but replacing tail lashing with scales clicking, and the wings will also move a little restlessly, making a leathery rustling sound. The wings droop if he's sad.

When he's concentrating on something, the very end of his tail will lazily move back and forth. If he's trying to be intimidating, he'll cross his arms over his chest and flare the wings out a bit to look even bigger. If he gets surprised, they'll also flare out; things like jump scares will make him actually jump and sometimes flap the wings, depending on the severity of the "oh shit" reaction.

He also has a tendency to slightly tilt his head to one side, kind of like a bird, when figuring something out/asking questions. And, when he sits in his draconian form, he curls his tail around his feet.

Kang's not big on public displays of affection like hugs, but he's slowly become more used to them after being around so many humans for months. He'll even accept platonic kisses on the cheek from female acquaintances/friends; he just won't reciprocate those. That form of kissing is entirely alien to him. If you get him drunk, though, he's more than happy to initiate hugs, or sling an arm around someone's shoulder/hang on them companionably. Kids are also another story: he doesn't have a problem with them touching him or completely ignoring personal space as kids are wont to do. He likes it when human children aren't afraid of his true form.

Draconian smiles, even happy and benign ones, are full of lots of sharp teeth, which is what makes the rest of his body language very important to observe.

He still has a soldier's bearing, but he's usually pretty easy-going and casual in the way he moves and talks. And naturally, he doesn't move quite like a human, even when in his human form. It's not as obvious anymore, but still definitely noticeable, especially when he does any sort of sparring/fighting as a human (he forgets sometimes that he doesn't have fangs, wings, and a tail anymore).

VERBAL MANNERISMS. Draconian form: Because of his non-human anatomy, he can make a wider range of sounds. He's capable of very deep, even subsonic, sounds in his chest, and can even do ultrasonic sounds in the back of his throat. Nasal sounds are impossible, though, due to the nasal cavity being a different shape.

His normal speaking voice is very deep, probably about an octave lower than Keith David's, and definitely not human. He also tends to use growls and hisses at times (I imagine them to be a lot like crocodilian vocalizations, with the growls starting deep in the chest). Interestingly, he can speak and have a rumbly growl going at the same time.

Kang's accent is... hard to match to any Earth one, really. It's somewhat similar to Romanian, but not quite; it's not as heavy, and the vowel pronunciation is not the same. Because of the shape of his mouth, soft sounds come out more as hisses or growls, and some of them are just flat out impossible for him to make, like soft d and t. It's also impossible to roll the r, like in burro or arroz.

Human form: He still has the accent, but he's able to pronounce the soft sounds much more easily. His voice is much less deep, in the typical human range.

He speaks a fair bit of Dwarven, and fluent Nerakese and Common. Common is largely the same as American English, but a few of the words here and there are completely different and not from any Earth language.

He's got a ridiculously high will save, so any attempts at mind control won't be easy. Psionics isn't really a thing on Krynn, though, so he doesn't think about it at all, or try to block access to thoughts.

NAME. Grey.
HEIGHT & BUILD. 187cm tall, and maybe weighing around 160lbs? idk, that's an estimate. He's underweight, though, thin for his height, and all his weight is in his muscles. Speaking of those, he's very spry and agile. The most notable thing about his body is that his chest, back and arms are all covered in tattoos. He has olive-toned skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair.
DEXTERITY. Right-handed
PHYSICAL DETAILS. He has quite intense eyes, and he tends to watch people very closely. He has no missing limbs, but he does have a fair few scars - including two prominent ones on his chest. One is on his left side and looks like a slash; the other is a stab wound right over his heart. He also has a scar on his right hand (on both sides, because the knife went straight through). He's mute for unknown reasons, and communicates mostly through his tattoos. Or, in MOM land, by texting you. His power is being able to create new tattoos, but so far he's only been able to use it inconsistently.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Grey has a Clothing: Optional approach to life. It's not unusual to see him completely shirtless, and even when he's not, he tends to have his shirt or coat open. He's not an exhibitionist; it's just that he uses the tattoos there to communicate, so clothes get in his way. In canon he only had his shoes, his pants and his coat, all of which were filthy. Now that he's here, he has clean new clothes, but he still has very few of them because he's not used to having fashion choices at all. Also, the idea of fashion entirely escapes him so don't expect his clothes to ever match, unless someone else has dressed him.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He's very agile, quiet and fast. He's also got excellent balance, thanks to growing up on a train that was always in motion. He can climb very well. He tends to stay to the background of things, not interposing himself but always listening. He can fit into quite small spaces and prefers to be around crowds. To communicate, he gestures to his tattoos, sends text messages, and he doesn't have much of a boundary when it comes to touching people. He has a very expressive face, also. When he's fighting, his movements turn graceful, precise, and deadly. He has spent a lot of time training in small spaces, climbing over obstacles, and fighting people much bigger and stronger than him.

Grey doesn't have any mental blocks. In game, he's used to (and comfortable with) Thomas being in his head, and he'll willingly talk to him that way. He would do the same with other psychics, and it would be unlikely to scare him. It would unnerve him to be controlled like that, though.

HEIGHT & BUILD.
5'4", 92lbs -- because everyone in the YGO-verse is chronically underweight while looking only slightly so, and she's got twenty problems on top of that. MEASUREMENTS ARE TOO HARD she has probably A- to B-cups and wide hella hips. Pear.

DEXTERITY. Right-handed!
PHYSICAL DETAILS. LMAO OK. FROM THE TOP:
★ HAIR is fucking seafoam green, looks like something you'd see in an aquarium. bangs are almost always loose in face; otherwise, hairdo changes frequently.
★ ONE REAL HUMAN EYE. iris is a sort of greenish amber color that sometimes borders on gold, kinda weird. THE OTHER HAS AN EYE PATCH. NO HUMAN EYE BENEATH IT.
★ Faint scarring on neck! other scars present but always hidden by clothing of some kind. Unless you are dating her (or trying to kill her or she is saving your life) you are probably not going to see the BURN-LIKE SCARIFICATION BIRTHMARK THING on her right arm. it looks like she got hit with a branding iron, if branding irons depicted stylized dragon hands.
★ BEAUTIFUL HANDS. MY GOD. this is clearly where eighty percent of the animation budget went, giving everyone beautiful fucking hands. her nails are only sometimes painted but they always look fantastic.
★ Ethnically Japanese! while her skin tone is on the lighter end of the scale, she is hella not white or white-passing.
★ At this age (17) and older, Ruka is meant to be an exceptionally pretty girl. the series gave us a flash forward and like the three things they establish about her future is "smart enough to go to university in London, pretty enough to cause a physical gawking-dude pile up on the sidewalk, and uninterested in becoming a professional card game player."
★ probably smells like designer soap and the nice parts of a forest in spring.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES.
★ Long sleeves 4eva. Exception: no sleeves if paired with elbow-length gloves, but that's for special occasions. She could be at the fucking beach and she'll somehow have a bathing suit with long sleeves. She is v self-conscious of the mark on her right arm.
★ Short pants/skirts 5eva. She has nice legs and likes showing them off its like one of the few things she genuinely likes about herself.
★ ONE EYE IS COVERED WITH AN EYE PATCH. it's her left eye that's covered. The patch is usually but not always heart-shaped, and it is usually but not always absent-father-figure-magenta/red.
★ Jewelry: one gold ring set with one gem, from troll planet (troll planet). One hella old gold bangle set with multiple precious stones, salvaged from the fucking Titanic. A wrought metal necklace with a charm shaped like an ouroborus-style dragon.
★ Color scheme: predominantly deep royal reds and purples, occasional pastel pink, less occasional deviations outside of that. Coordinated with gold, white, and black.
★ Overall she tries to wear nice clothing, in part because she can feel the diffused misery of the laborers in cheap/sweatshop stuff.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS.
Ruka has great posture, and in general doesn't move a whole lot when she doesn't have to. Any time she gestures or anything like it when she talks --like shrugs, have waves, etc-- the motions are exceedingly deliberate, and sometimes a little stiff. She'll make herself smaller if she's actively depressed about something, but she tries not to show it. Her hands are usually folded in her lap, crossed behind her back, or crossed against her lower chest.

VERBAL MANNERISMS.
Her voice is middling pitch, and she tends to talk a little slower than her peers, though not "slow". Overall tone is usually very casual, bored, and doesn't often betray any real emotional investment.

Her English has an accent, but it's a weird hodgepodge amalgamation between West Coast US and smattering Western Europe. She enunciates everything.

If she's not paying attention, she sometimes still says "whale " instead of "well".

For psychics, her memory's been fucked around a bit due to a couple separate cases of possession, and there's some weird fuckery as a result of being, like, somewhere between the gateway to/guardian slash houser of an alternate dimension of monster spirits, so hypnosis is a bad plan.

She can see invisible shit and intrinsically understand any non-real-world non-humans so long as they are using a language, but that does not come up often.

NAME. Mary Morstan
HEIGHT & BUILD. She's 5'4" with a healthy weight and medium build. Slowly moving down from that size twelve BUT MY NAME because she has been working out a lot more since showing up here for reasons.
DEXTERITY. Ambidextrous, but to a passing eye she'd seem to be left-handed, as she wears her watch on her right wrist and uses her left hand the most.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Mary's hair is a light blonde, cut short close to her ears and somehow kept always very neat. It's not often you'll find a hair out of place, but even then it's very easy to manage and keep out of her face. Sometimes she wears it straight, pinned back, or even crimped and curled. While she's naturally pale, she can tan well enough, and she'd have a mellow tan here in Florida with how much she's outside. She has an appendix scar and a secret tattoo. Not necessarily physical but still noticeable is that she might smell like bread (she bakes it) and the Clair de la Lune perfume but not when climbing buildings anymore bc how embarrassing.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Mary wears very bright clothing on average, with lots of reds, blues, greens, and black or white to bond. When climbing buildings/pistol whipping people, just black, because that's how you do. She tends to favor more expensive fabrics and styles, but her fashion tends towards traditional or eclectic. In the day she might wear sneakers (trainers) with the jean cuffs flipped up, and top it with a satin shirt and leather satchel bag if she feels like it, but when out on the town at night, she loves the fancy dresses, jewelry, make-up, and fur stoles. It can be all over the place, but she's classy in general. She isn't afraid of patterns, and don't be surprised to catch her in scrubs of all colors.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. She tends to walk with purpose, not one to loiter about or stumble by accident, and when she sits or stands, it's equally capable. She might occasionally slump in comfy chairs when around people she feels remotely comfortable with, but in general she keeps both feet on the ground and is always ready to get up in a hurry, especially in public venues. If uncertain of a situation or when feeling threatened, Mary will sit straighter and tend to lean towards or linger near any discernible weapon or exit. Mary is also very expressive, and seems to throw herself unabashedly into her warm affection, dry humor, and inner troll. She smiles with her whole face, but she can sneer with the best of them. With those who truly know her (three living) or anyone who might confront her true persona, her manners and tone can all become cold as ice. It isn't all a facade, but enough of it is. She is always observing and calculating, even if it isn't clear.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. London accent unless she's piss drunk and joking around (you will never see that). Nobody knows what Mary's actual accent is, but she's a linguist and it's presumed she's at least been to (if she isn't from) America or Russia, so those accents are likely in her repertoire. Her voice sounds like this when she's srs bsns, but beware spoilers.

She is a lying liar, and with practice can learn and perfect many mannerisms, especially because of her shapeshifting & intuitive aptitude now putting her former skills into overdrive. Mary is susceptible to psychics, but since one already announced herself on the network, Mary is going to be practicing thinking in other languages in the hopes it might set them off. How tiring. Feel free to catch her off guard and read those dirty thoughts, anyway, and she can't defend against being controlled or manipulated.

Chrollo Lucilfer

NAME. Chrollo Lucilfer
HEIGHT & BUILD. Well he's 5'9.5"/177 cm. Slim but muscular build. Highly sculpted.
DEXTERITY. Presumably ambitextrous since he can fight with his left hand while holding a book in his right, but when he fights on a "normal" level he uses his right hand.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Pale like a vampire, black hair that's usually slicked back if he's working/alone or left loose when he's pretending to be normal. Huge, huge grey eyes that can go from warm and inviting to terrifying in an instant. Often wears a bandage to cover the cross tattoo on his forehead which, btw, he has a cross tattoo on his forehead. Chrollo is.... beautiful, and very magnetic in general - it's tough to portray that in text but yeah, he's naturally charismatic and attractive. That said, he has a "cold" vibe when he's not actively countering it by pretending to be a normal person. Also he's 26 but noted to look young, which is probably because nen usage slows aging or whatever.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Dear God, I have a whole page for this, but long story short: in normal mode he wears semi-fashionable but generally pretty classic outfits in mostly grey, black, white, some beige maybe. His nighttime look veers a bit more gothy with leather and some edgier stuff, still black and grey basically. also some silver jewelry like crosses and such. His natural/most relaxed style is SUPER GOTH, and almost entirely black with some red, gold or white accents. If he can avoid wearing a shirt, he's probably not wearing a shirt. Also, his most consistent accessory is the unique blue-green globe earrings that he never takes off.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Extremely confident way of carrying himself, very comfortable in his own skin. When he's in "normal" mode, he comes off as enthusiastic and approachable, kind of mild and self-deprecating but still comfortable with himself. In "working" mode, he's almost expressionless, kind of quirky and prone to unblinking stares. Often a bit creepy or inhuman in vibe. In his most natural mode he's somewhere between the two. Generally not that expressive anyway. He also has a rarely seen mode which can best be described as playfully sadistic, in which he has a really dark/wild look about him.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Speaks very quietly, and has a deep voice. Actually, here.

He has fairly substantial mental blocks from his Nen abilities, but it's pretty easy to get the following off of him: he is almost never emotionally aroused in any way. He has no fear of death or hesitation about dying, and does not especially value his own life, but he is happy and content with this. Actually... understanding his mindset tends to scare the hell out of people.

If he can be reading then he's probably reading; he even reads when he's on the phone.

He has no ability to maintain interest in the things he owns, so if you go to his apartment more than once, you'll probably notice that things disappear and get replaced all the time - he never has the same decorations, switches the locations of things, etc.

He doesn't care about anything in this world and also doesn't care about like 99% of his world either. Unless he's talking about the Phantom Troupe, Meteor City or lusting after powers, any passion you see is probably faked. There are a couple of minor exceptions (he has a soft spot for abandoned things) and some cases of [information updating] (Hisoka, mostly. Also Illumi to a lesser degree) but overall he's very passionless. I mean, he's all about community, but not this community, oops.

He's an expert in hand-to-hand combatant and often carries a poisoned dagger, so there's that. Also a genius.

When he's in work mode, he wears his crosses upside down.

To be honest I really admire Chrollo's character. His personality and back story is so interesting which makes me feel vert attached to him.

NAME. Kanaya Maryam
HEIGHT & BUILD. Nearly 6'1" and about 155 lbs, she's pear-shaped with a very slight bust and wide, round hips, most of her curves situated below the waist. She's somewhere between athletic and skinny, having an active lifestyle and a poor diet. She has pretty well toned arms and long legs made for running. I have this goofy reference thing for her build.
DEXTERITY. Ambidextrous, but I like to think she favors left.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Kanaya's a striking figure in either form, as much for her height as her general features. She's a bit hawkish, with a long, sharp nose, ever so slightly hooked, and strong eyebrow game over her large, pale green eyes, with very dark, pronounced bags under them. While human, she has dark brown skin, like copper, and appears to be ethnically Indian. In her natural form, it's grey, though she can project a glow from somewhere within the dermis that makes it look stark white. There are very subtle differences in her face depending in her natural form, as well. Her nose seems slightly sharper and her cheeks are hollow, the cheekbones with a harsher angle. Those bags under her eyes are only deeper, like shadows or bruises, and her irises have grey rings around their edges that will fill in as she gets older. Her ears are pointed, her fangs are large enough to poke out between her naturally black lips, and of course she has her horns, about six inches in length, the left one coming down in a sharp crook at the tip.

Her hair is black, and cut short on the sides and in back but longer on top, if she wore it down it might reach her chin. It's a bit curly naturally, but she usually straightens it and wears it combed back, though sometimes parts it to the left. It comes down in small curls in front of her ears.

There's a large scar on her abdomen and back that looks like a misshapen star, almost like the flesh pulled over itself to cover a hole that went right through her, because that's exactly what happened. It's slightly concave, and centered on where her belly button would be, if she had one. The marks are green in both human and troll form. She has no other scars, as any wounds she's had after have all quickly healed.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Kanaya does her best to always dress immaculately, one of her style icons is Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger, so she'll always have a weakness for long, black dresses. But she does try to adapt it to local fashion, so she can often be seen in 50s-style cocktail dresses mixed with quasi-goth sensibilities. Most of her skirts are ankle-length, but she actually likes her legs, so she's played around with things that show them off better, high-waisted shorts and pencil skirts being occasionally featured. She likes slash-neck shirts with long sleeves, things that might bare her shoulders, but also likes sleeveless tops from time to time. Never a bare midriff, for obvious reasons. T-shirts and tanks are rare in her wardrobe, but not out of the question, especially if she's doing something physical work. Jeans and trousers are unheard of. Most commonly featured colors are black, jade, red, and white, but she's not limited to them.

Her makeup is usually black or jade, and while she takes great care with it, it can be difficult to work too much with it when she can go from one skintone to another in a literal flash. She can almost always be seen with winged eyeliner, lipstick, and generous concealer to cover up those pesky bags. She's practically naked without. A troll's nails are naturally yellow, but hers are always black or jade.

She often wears two thick bracelets on her right wrist, either light blue, red, jade, or lavender, and with a thin black watch on her left. Any outfit will feature a Virgo symbol somewhere, but it won't always be incredibly prominent. From 02/14/2014 onward, she was always wearing an emerald necklace, though she won't be seen with it after 01/13/2015.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Kanaya is very prim, stands upright and usually carries herself coolly, confidently, gliding as she walks. But she also tends to move a lot, because there are usually a million and one thinks she needs to do and she will probably be doing them while she's talking to you. She's a multitasker. She is trying very hard.

Exactly how hard she's trying can become more obvious when it falls apart. It's especially obvious when she's really angry, as it's translated into everything. Her shoulders hunch and she slouches forward, her whole face contorts into a very great scowl, and she looks like she might be able to stare something right to death. She actually moves a great deal less. She might even hiss once or twice.

When she's flustered, she tends to pull inward, trying to look as small as she feels. As we've already established, she's a minor giantess, so that doesn't really work. Her face can run the full gamut, desperate for some way to either hide what is currently happening, or stop it from happening entirely. Neither is ever very successful.

In general, she can be rather expressive, and tends to talk with her hands, especially when sassing. She's good at sneers, and in times of quiet contemplation her hand is often glued to her cheek. Her hips have a tendency to cock to either side, especially when she has a hand on one or her arms are folded, which isn't uncommon.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Kanaya speaks in an inexplicable English accent, because aliens are weird like that, and her pitch usually falls in the alto range. She's very articulate, carefully enunciating every syllable. Usually. In times of heightened stress or anger it might slip a little, or a lot, and might just turn into outright yelling. Or hissing. She often speaks quickly, because she always has a lot to say, and her humor is generally dry, while deadpan at times, she tends to speak in a lilt when being sarcastic. It took practice.

Despite being a vampire, she doesn't register as supernatural to most who are sensitive, as it's really the completely natural progression of her biological maturity. Though she does still read as undead, as her awakening was triggered early by a very fatal catalyst.

She's very psychically susceptible, but her mind is a bit of a mess, like someone tried to organize it and got overwhelmed, then possibly smashed things up a bit out of frustration. The most organized portions all center on her memories, especially of people who aren't around any longer. The messiest parts are all the Hobgoblin parts, especially since they were only recently unlocked.

He is awkward, but when you warm up and he warms up, he isn't THAT nervous. He is polite and gentle, and if you talk to him about books, you'll ge the chance to see him excited.

DEXTERITY. probably ambidextrous but favoring the right. we just don't know.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. who's ready for copy/paste plus a lot of "well I don't know" cause this is an audio medium. anyway, Dorian's REALLY REALLY RIDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKING.

I don't want to be that person who brings it up constantly, but man Dorian is pretty, in a supernatural sort of way. people constantly stare at him in canon and he's just like "yeah, I'm used to this." he's not burly or handsome or rugged or anything like that, he's straight up pretty. he's got dark black hair and really piercing eyes (the black hair is actually a departure from the book, where Dorian was a blonde). he also has a massive babyface. Dorian was in his early twenties when he sold his soul to be immortal and hasn't aged a day sense. so he's definitely got that feeling of being older than he is, but still looking like he'll get carded at the bar.

he also has near flawless skin because healing factor, suck itttt. he's pale as fuck, though. boy needs to tan.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. is it expensive? does it come in dull colors? done and done. Dorian's clothing is mostly expensive as hell, or at least something that looks expensive as hell. he comes from money and managed to make good investments with the money, so he's pretty loaded in canon and uses a good chunk of that on clothes. he tends towards very dramatic pieces: big coats, sharp suits, something fashion forward and super sharp.

ingame, he's probably hit up a LOT of thrift stores and Sears brand suits, because there is no goddamn way he was able to afford Prada on a guidance counselor's salary. it absolutely grinds his gears because "urgh, the quality of the material in this oxford is so bad, why do I have to buy it". this also means that he's made his wardrobe a bit more causal ingame. whereas in canon, Dorian wouldn't be caught dead in jeans or polos, here he probably has one or two of each in his closet to his GREAT dismay.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. the way they carry themselves, if they slouch, how they stand, usually with hands in their pockets? maybe something that's a bit more open and inviting? all jazz hands all the time? the way that they gesture with their words, if they're very physically expressive, etc.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. he's British! Dorian's got a British accent. he constantly sounds borderline smarmy when he talks, a sort of 'I know something you don't know' kind of smarm. post-death, he's a lot more liable to show emotion and actual feelings, though it still tends to default to 'resting bored bitchface.' he doesn't get super excited or sad that often but when that happens, it goes up to eleven.

he also talks like a massive pretentious douchebag. this comes through more in the narration than his actual dialogue.

NAME. Luvander. (No seriously his canon doesn't believe in last names.)
HEIGHT & BUILD. Luvander is on the short side, I'd say about 5'7 at most, and while life as a soldier has kept him in good shape, he definitely is more on the lean side than outright muscular.
DEXTERITY. I don't think there's much canon information to go on here, so I'll go with right-handed but fairly reasonable at using both.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Blue-eyed, blond, wears his hair long enough to have it in a silly little ponytail at the nape of his neck at all times. Pale skin which goes kind of red and attractively blotchy when he gets angry, and therefore probably flushes fairly easily if he's excited/ashamed except he has no shame. Nothing really remarkable apart from a rather vicious-looking purple scar in the shape of a hook right across his adam's apple and dipping down under his shirt, where it runs across his chest down to a bit above his hip. (It's visible in one icon, but I described it poorly to the patient soul who did my icons so it's not quite right there.) He has several others in more hidden places, diverse wounds acquired in battle, but even the one on his throat isn't very visible however because-
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. -he wears scarves all the time. He doesn't really like people to stare at the scar, so he makes sure to cover it up. Apart from that, he'll be dressed in surprisingly fashionable clothes for someone who only recently dropped in from an alternate reality's steampunk version of the 19th century. His color scheme will be a bit eccentric, and he'll nonetheless gravitate to more classical looks, however.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Constant movement! Luvander doesn't do the standing still thing in any way. He talks with his hands, gestures a lot, and also constantly moves about doing stuff even while talking. He also has some very lively facial mimicry going on, but a keen observer might note that while he throws himself wholeheartedly into hyperbole and theatrics, he very rarely expresses deeper, more genuine emotions at all. The best way of telling that he's upset or angry is by the cessation of movement, by Luvander going still and unnaturally tense.
He actually isn't very tactile as a rule, but when his feelings get the best of him he seems to forget all about personal space. Seriously, the right response to meeting someone you thought was dead is probably hugging, but you don't have to almost tackle them down the stairs.
Canonly described as moving around like an overgrown cricket at one point. Idek what to do with that, man.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Because of Reasons the translation thingy still gives him a fairly noticeable Russian accent. His voice is rather pleasant-sounding, a light baritone, and just like his mannerisms it's very expressive, at times bordering on the theatrical. A shame people get tired of it so quickly since he never shuts up.

Presence-wise, I suppose the only thing that can be noted is that under all the contradictions, downright erratic behavior and plain weirdness, Luvander is a surprisingly well-balanced person.
When he summons his dragon, both he, she and everything around them will start smelling like fire, ashes, some kind of fuel and heated metal. There seems to be no way of stopping this, so just roll with it.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'9''-ish...no idea about weight, but he's a pretty lean guy. No pun intended.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Perpetually in need of a shave. According to Hannibal Lecter's Wolverine-level nose, smells like he uses a cologne/aftershave with a ship on the bottle that's been in the bottle for too long. He's got an issue with a rotator cuff in one shoulder thanks to being stabbed, so he holds a gun a little oddly and can be pretty tense. Later on he gets more shoulder pain, which only exacerbates how weirdly he holds a gun. If he doesn't get a haircut regularly, he ends up a majestic shaggy beast, the majestic nature being debatable.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Goodwill, Salvation Army, that bargain box the church up the road runs. He wears vests at random, lots of plaid/flannel button-ups, if he's in a one-color shirt there may be something fancy going on. Don't ask him to dress up because even then it's pretty bad. "I put on a tie and suit jacket nothing else matters," seems to be the motto. He wears glasses depending on the situation and apparently prison chic dictates no socks (or maybe just well-behaved psychopaths get socks and he ruined that one). If he covers up with a coat, it can be nice, but you know there's some hideous shirt just waiting underneath it. simpleman.mp3 the wardrobe tbh.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He's pretty practiced at avoiding eye contact and looking like he'd rather be the wallpaper in any given room. Will didn't smile for longer than 2 seconds, and really smile, until episode 7 of season 2. He's a rather joyless guy who gesticulates a lot and doesn't sit unless he wants to, damn it. He'd much prefer to wander all over his psychiatrist's office during a session than sit in the chair like a cooperative, regular patient until extreme measures make him chill the hell out. Dude looks ready to crawl out of his own skin sometimes, but that's preferable to ~embracing the madness~.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. I've read it described as something like Batman, since Hugh Dancy is a Brit and Will Graham is not. I guess to counter his real accent, he just gets super low and gruff and sometimes sounds like he was chewing on gravel before they started filming. I'm just going to assume that's the reason he can't pronounce Biloxi despite Will having grown up in that area and be done with it. Once he gets into creepy metaphor territory, you're just waiting to hear Chester Bennington humming along before the beat kicks in. Like so.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. girlfriend's got blue hair, that's pretty detailed. it's normally straight and waist-length, but occasionally she'll pull it up in a ponytail or pigtails. aside from that, she's Asian ethnically but then you get into the fun little game of 'you're from a made-up fairy tale kingdom that just so happens to be in the same era as modern Japan and yet like only three people in canon and none of the civilians ever talk about the kingdom???' so her nationality is ???. Blue Skyean? who the hell knows, it's made-up.

then, there's the fact that her hair changes color & length as a Precure. it goes from waist-length and aquamarine to almost floor-length pigtails that are light blue.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. man, Hime says that she really likes fashion? but Hachapre is an anime, so everybody has their one casual wear outfit that they wear all the time and nothing else. hers is her white dress with a yellow petticoat and blue ribbon. occasionally she wears different casual wear outfits, but they're mostly all dresses. I imagine that ingame she tends to wear pretty much the same thing: tons of dresses, with sweaters and tights over top/underneath if it ever gets a bit cold.

Hime's emotions are SO VERY VISIBLE and SO VERY OBVIOUS. she is exceedingly emotional and moves her arms a lot when excited, like a typical genki anime character. she doesn't believe in personal space and often gets right on up in yo grill. one thing that's noticeable about her is that she's not as shy anymore, but when she is? she hides. she hides behind people, she hides behind things, she hides in her room. she still hides when she wants to get away from people or she's feeling depressed.

also, Hime is a goddamn snugglebug. she snuggles a stuffed animal when she's feeling down, but she also snuggles her friends a lot.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. she's the blue one, obviously. much like her physical mannerisms, Hime wears her heart on her sleeve which is reflected in her voice. expect her to get REALLY LOUD AND HAPPY when there's something awesome and REALLY WHINY when there's something that's not going her way. really, Hime's default is loud. though she can be quiet sometimes (most notably when she's sad), she's always loudly being happy about something or loudly being angry about something or loudly being annoyed about something.

HEIGHT & BUILD. Fabulous. Melkor is pretty tall, at least over 6'7"ish, muscular build.

PHYSICAL DETAILS. Melkor was literally created as the most beautiful of his siblings when he was a Valar. And boy does he know it. He looks like the Elves pretty much these days now that he has taken a more permanent form- pointy ears, tall, great skin, pretty eyes, ageless, etc.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Black is so classic! Melkor was wearing black armor and black robes when he was joyriding on a spider but now sticks to black/grey tunics/clothes, actually rather simple. He has a few bits of silver jewelry that he's enhanced with some of Feanor's pretty Elvish jewels and no he's not giving them back you can't make him. He has his sword with him as well but it's in need of a good cleaning so he doesn't carry it with him.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Melkor carries himself with confidence. Shoulders back, good posture and all that. He doesn't slouch unless he's sulking but he's not afraid to make eye contact and stare people down.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. He speaks somewhat formally, in an old version of an old Elvish language. He's not very subtle and is very blunt and doesn't really hide his emotions too well. when he's excited and/or angry. He can get really loud too, he doesn't really understand the whole 'inside voices' thing.

He is originally a god and so anyone peeking in his mind may see a lot of fire and a lot of darkness of his original form. And he's very, very old and has done some very, very bad things so beware of that.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'4'' and 121 lbs. Armin is athletic enough to operate his gear, etc., but small and lithe enough that he plays a decently convincing woman when dressed for it.
DEXTERITY. Right-handed, though he's not clumsy with his left hand and uses it for fine motions with his 3dmg.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Armin has thick, expressive eyebrows. He's developed a smattering of freckles from spending so much time in full, bright sunlight in Heropa, and his hair's gone a little bit lighter as well. He keeps his hair at a functional chin-length bob. It's a little bit obvious he cuts it himself.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. When attending imPort events Armin tends to dress in a nondescript manner, though he sometimes wears shirts with band names or cute animals on them. He has a few vests he wears to dress up with or just when he feels like being a little more snazzy. He has a pair of fancy red running shoes he bought when he first arrived that he favors. Generally he keeps with a cooler pallet though he's secretly quite fond of spring colors and pastels. When he wants to look a bit nicer, he wears vests. Actually has a pet interest in fashion (from an anthropological standpoint!) and may occasionally throw in cute details that surprise, like nail polish, large wide-brimmed hats or cute sunglasses. He tends to cover up as much as is comfortable to avoid getting sunburned, and also for his own comfort.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Armin either moves with trained, formal precision that exudes discipline and purpose, or tends to be rather anxious and closed in, depending on his mood and what's around him. Ironically, it's usually when he has his guard down that he tends to shrink a bit, even if he's happy, he unconsciously makes himself smaller, hugging his knees and ducking his head. Some people have 'resting bitch face', his resting face emits an air of 'I AM CONCERNED'.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Armin's voice is high and light. He is extremely polite and formal most of the time. He speaks with precision and vocabulary beyond what might be expected of a boy his age. Armin likes to talk, and often builds on ideas and speaks so rapidly he can be difficult to follow - this is especially noticeable if he's excited, good or bad, about something. He's the type of person who will remember random facts and spit them out, connecting them to lines of the conversation no one else might see. Marina Inoue is my Armin forever.

NAME. Hazel Lockwood
HEIGHT & BUILD. 5' even, and majorly petite. She's delicate and small in a very breakable way - she gives off the impression that it's completely possible to snap her in half by breathing on her too hard. There's nothing really toned or athletic about her, and her bust is on the small side. She's rather reminiscent of a china doll, albeit softer.
DEXTERITY. Right-handed, although I imagine she could have some hilarious reattachment misadventures that make her a 'lefty' at some point.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. She has black hair and dark brown eyes, and skin that is kind of ambiguously brown/tan/noticeably darker I haven't thought about this much ok. She's got long slender fingers to match the rest of her delicate appearance, the kind that you'd expect to see on a pianist or someone really dextrous.

Hazel is covered in thick, dark stitches all over her body, although the density differs depending on the area. The ugliest of them is the big Y-scar on her chest from the autopsy her ressurector performed to remove her organs - including her brain, although the stitches from that are hidden by her hair.

Because she was preserved before being brought back to life, Hazel smells like embalming fluids if you get too close to her, although you'd really have to be shoving your nose into her hair or something to notice. She's aware of it and tries to wear a fragrance to cover it - nothing too overwhelming, just a soft floral kind of thing. It's really feminine.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Hazel used to own just one outfit - a somewhat casual black suit that had been foisted on her by the witch to try and make her appear more official to unwitting people. That was recently sacrificed so she could escape a store without being charged for shoplifting, leaving her with...a coulple sweater in warm tones and a pair of tights. She's been promised a new suit and is going to probably buy some other clothes as well, this time more casual and age appropriate.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS.
Hazel almost always seems to give off the impression that she's nervous, likely because she is. She holds herself tightly together, kind of making it seem like she's prepared to cut and run at a moment's notice. She gesticulates when she talks, and the gestures get sharper and more out of control the more worked up she gets. Her face is incredibly expressive, sometimes to comical extremes.

That said, anyone who pays attention may notice some things that are...off about her. She usually isn't breathing, she doesn't sweat, and for the moment she never cries or blushes at all. That's what happens when you're dead.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Hazel's from Connecticut, but she really doesn't have any kind of New England accent. Her voice is pleasant enough when it's stable, but when she gets upset it becomes pretty shrill pretty damn fast. She tends to talk more quickly when she's lying, because she's bad at it and it makes her nervous. Ironically, when things get really serious she speaks completely evenly.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'0", 95 lbs, somewhere between petite and beanpole thin, which is probably slightly concerning to anyone who doesn't know about his heroic extracurriculars. He is entirely wiry muscle and puns.
DEXTERITY. Righty.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Ridiculously blue eyes, for one. has a fair amount of difficult to explain scars, and a slightly crooked nose from having it broken a few times. Whole lot of hand calluses but he can explain that with gymnastics. Score. Probably has at least a few bruises at any given time, but he's really good with foundation.

When he's being Dick, not Robin, he has his hair slicked back; when he's Robin, casual or not, he has floppy, slightly shaggy-looking hair. It gets cowlick-y fast if he doesn't keep it trimmed. The hair is a distinction I don't always pay attention to in icons because he doesn't have enough not-Robin icons but there ya go.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Skinny jeans, skinny jeans, skinny jeans. Whether he's Dick or Robin-in-civvies, he goes for the skinny jeans, paired with hoodies and jackets big enough to go swimming in, or, occasionally, a plain t-shirt or button-down. Probably also owns a lot of sweaters.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Dick carries himself confidently, whether he's Robin or Dick. Dick goes a little more rich kid trying to be suave like he's imitating Bruce only tiny (and occasionally with the full knowledge that it looks ridiculous), and Robin puffs himself up and squares his shoulders and tries to look like a slightly less tiny superhero.

He moves around a lot. Climbing on things, shifting from foot to foot, doing ridiculous things with his hands, whatever. It's not something that happens in the show that much (animation limits, probs) but it's a thing I'm dragging over from comics canon because it's cute. He's expressive! He's a hand talker! He's very very animated.

He also tends to sit on high places because he likes to be tall.

VERBAL MANNERISMS. Sounds like Jesse McCartney. BUT NO. Okay. He has a high voice, very light, pleasant and cheerful until he needs to lay a smackdown on someone and then it's all business. About 75% of the time he sounds slightly amused, like there's a joke only he's getting or something.

Vocal reference. This is Feelings Robin, where he gets a little stuttery and hesitant, and it's not really typical but it's the best scene I could find and also pretty good acting.

Mentally, there's a lot more going on under the surface than he lets on. He's incredibly analytical and really good at compartmentalizing things and has one or two traumatic memories hidden in there. Still, overall, he's reasonably well adjusted, and not prone to serious mental breakage too much. Just regular teenage feelings, which are quite enough, thanks.

Possibly has some kind of rudimentary how-to-defend-against-psychics knowledge (thanks Batman), but it... likely wouldn't do much good.

NAME. Hope Summers
HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'6", and her official weight is 106lb but haha comic book weights. In reality she's probably around 130lb or a little more. She also has the body of an Olympic athlete because she trains ALL THE TIME and has been doing so basically since age four. Combined with growing up in a food-scarce environment, she's lean and it's basically all muscle.
DEXTERITY. Most likely righty. It's probably been shown but not remarked upon.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. She's a natural redhead, and her hair is just past shoulder-length, and slightly wavy. She probably pulls it back while training (even though in comics nobodies hair gets in their face ever). Green eyes, naturally pretty though she doesn't bother to play that up at all. She also has a lot of faded scars, mostly on her arms and legs - mostly scrapes and cuts, though one or two look distinctly like bullet scars. Having some body armor now means that most of them are pretty faded. Well-calloused hands and feet (see: constant training), short nails.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Wears her superhero outfit (see selfie) way more than probably necessary because it's convenient. She has no personal style so it kind of ends up efficient grunge. She cleans up pretty well (let's be real Emma probably picked out both those outfits. Or Scott). She's probably going to default to cargo pants and t-shirts here unless someone talks her into putting on a dress. Has probably been coaxed into wearing SOME make-up a few times but does not do so regularly. She also has some plain pinkand and white barrettes that she'll put in her hair (not that any artist has remembered since Second Coming) - Nate gave them to her so they are extra special (even though they're cheap plastic)

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Hope's body-language is disciplined and very self-assured. She's well-trained and confident in her physicality, and tends to have a soldier's bearing.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Fairly neutral 'American' accent, though with some very subtle hard-to-place shifts on occasion (she learned English from a man who learned English by picking it out of the mind of a Scottish scientist). She also learned basically no 20th/21st century female socialization skills so she comes off as blunt/rude/a bitch even when she's not deliberately being one (though tbh most of the time she really is just rude)

She's an omega-level mutant, and probably has a strong astral presence, though she's not actually a psi herself naturally. Probably knows some basic thought-shielding, though again, not a psi so unless she can borrow it from whoever is trying to go through her head, she can't actually stop them, just maybe slow them down a little.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5'8" (172 cm), 137 lbs (62 kg), built like a meth addict, skin-and-bones with narrow shoulders and frail arms.
DEXTERITY. Right-handed.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Jesse's eyes are really, really blue. It's important. They're emphasized by expressive eyebrows that tell a lot about how he's processing information, whether he's struggling with a concept or feeling skeptical. He has boyish features that help him look innocent and sort of undermine his efforts when he's trying to be intimidating. He's got pale, freckled skin and a forehead that goes on for miles. His nose is very pointy. His hair is dirty blonde but it's buzzed so short you can hardly tell, and he's got scruffy facial hair that reflects how depressed he is on any given day. Contrary to every expectation of a meth smoker, he's got perfect teeth and a gorgeous smile. He has three tattoos: a Borneo scorpion on his right hand, a Chinese dragon on his chest, and a Mexican calavera on his back. In Hank Schrader's words, he's "dreamy".
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. In his time here, Jesse's aesthetic has shifted to neo-retro gangster, reflecting the criminal circles he's running in, so he's got a bit of a Marlon Brando-meets-James Dean thing going on. He favors biker jackets, fitted t-shirts, and distressed denim. If it's cold outside, he'll toss on a hoodie, a V-neck sweater, or a cardigan. He wears mostly black with accents of color, usually red or blue with the occasional gold. His taste is expensive but casual, though he's adjusted to wearing suits in front of cameras.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He buzzes with nervous energy, constantly pacing or fidgeting or drumming on things. His posture sucks; he's usually slouching or leaning on things - unless he's pissed off, in which case he rolls his shoulders back and puffs himself up to seem bigger. When he's feeling vulnerable, he'll rub at his neck. When he's exasperated or annoyed, he'll rub at his face. In fact, most clues about his mood can be determined by looking at his hands. He's got a bit of an oral fixation, frequently biting on his lip or his fingernails, or licking his lips, or idly rolling his tongue around in his mouth. He smokes a lot. Whenever he's bored, he'll light a cigarette. He also twirls his utensils like drumsticks if he's chatting during a meal.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. His voice is deeper than his boyish features would suggest, gravelly and rough but also a bit nasally. He fluctuates between half-shouting and grumbling with very little in-between. He typically speaks with an adopted AAVE ("Ebonics") vernacular in an accent that is not-quite Dirty South, given his upper-class white upbringing. In fact, there's a sprinkling of Valley Girl cadence with his overuse of "like" and "oh my god". He litters his speech with curse words, famously punctuating phrases with "yo" and "bitch", but not to the extent he did when he was younger. He employs sarcasm a lot and has a tendency to mimic people both out of mockery and sincerity. He likes to adopt manners of speech from other people and to use the words they teach him so that he sounds smarter, even if he doesn't know what they mean.

Jesse has a lot to hide. He's highly unstable, prone to paranoid delusions and outright hallucinations - though that's tempered a bit by his power. He suffers from PTSD to a pretty extreme degree, subject to flashbacks and bouts of depression and emotional withdrawal. He is a murderer and he can be violent when he's panicked, but he isn't sadistic nor is he a psychopath.

HEIGHT & BUILD. 5’1 ish, probs like 95lbs. I mean really, this kid is skin and bones, super lanky. Look at that picture up there, he’s got a thigh gap some folks would kill for.
DEXTERITY. Ambidextrous! He used to be right handed, but that changed when he got his abilities. Monkey’s have no dominant hand after all.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Surprise, he’s green! Literately every part of him is 100% green except like, the inside of him. Like, his mouth and stuff y’know. He’s got a mark on his left arm, under the fur, that never went away from the blood transfusion that gave him his powers. When it rains he smells like wet dog…
Oh. And he's secretly ginge and has blue eyes.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Hah..a..ha… This is the part where I tell you that Gar is a disgusting child and pretty much only ever wears his biosuit. He got it from M’gann, and it changes appearance when he does. In animal form it’s just a little red and white collar. Sometimes when he’s cold, which doesn’t happen often because he’s furry and lives in Florida, he’ll throw a hoodie over the biosuit, but he really doesn’t own much in the way of clothes. He doesn’t try to maintain a civilian identity, so he doesn’t bother with civilian clothing. And for undercover stuff, this is his idea of a disguise. Flawless, right?

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. He stands constantly swayed forward, but not actually slouching. He also tends to assume some more animal like mannerisms. Most of the time when he runs he knuckle walks like a gorilla, and when he has to stand in one place for a while he’ll just do this, sometimes even on ledges and stuff, like a bird. He also responds to affection in a very cat like manner I guess you could say? Like, he arches into touch really obviously and stuff. And when he’s on the alert his tail goes up, and he bares he teeth like a monkey.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. “Noted.” Which is kind of his thing when things are explained to him. Sometimes he draws out letters when he’s confused, and he really likes the word “dude” and the phrase “I mean”. Conversations between him and Bart are like 50% those three words.

Gar actually tends to keep his mind pretty open. Like, anyone trying to get in there for psychic stuff would have no problems at all. It comes from having a psychic sister whom he really trusts. Also, his actually psyche can be kind of frail in some parts. For the most part he’s got a mind like steel, but you get to close to something about his mom… oh boy.

Jonathan Joestar

NAME. Jonathan Joestar
HEIGHT & BUILD. He's 6'5" and officially something like 230 pounds which is a fucking lie, his shoulders probably weigh that on their own. Jonathan is built like a tractor - he is gigantic and tall and muscular in every place you could possibly stick muscles. He's really kind of monstrous, haha.
DEXTERITY. He's right-handed, I think. It's been a while. But it wouldn't surprise me if he's ambidextrous, all things considered.
PHYSICAL DETAILS. Jonathan has dark hair and bright blue eyes, the kind of blue that you really notice. Probably the most notable thing about his appearance is a star-shaped birthmark at the base of his neck, which has been passed down to all of his descendants because ~*THE LEGACY OF THAT BLOOD*~

He has a few scars, the largest being one on his shoulder from where he had a medieval spear lodged in it and another on his forearm where his future best friend jammed a bladed hat. I like to think that Jonathan smells of old books, stirred up grass, or a sort of dated cologne depending on what he's been doing that day.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES. Jonathan dresses like the grandpa he is most of the time. Although he's aware of modern fashion in the vague sort of way anyone walking outside would be, he still falls back on the things he knows and likes. Unfortunately 'the things he knows and likes' are either suits that are far too formal for just going out in or really hideous abominations. Seriously, someone let him out of the house wearing this and this.

PHYSICAL MANNERISMS. Jonathan carries himself with impeccable posture of varying degrees, depending on how formal he thinks the situation is. Unless he's fighting, all of his movements are shocking gentle for a man of his size and musculature - it's pretty funny to see him handle things delicately with big giant bara hands. He seems to have an endless well of inner energy that never runs dry; he's always excited about pretty much everything he's doing, whether it's research or learning to use instagram. It's criminally easy to figure out what Jonathan is feeling, because not only is his face incredibly expressive but it's impossible for him to hide his emotions.

Even though he's basically a big puppy, there's a distinct feeling somehow (whether it's the way he carries himself or just his very solid presence) that when pushed to the brink Jonathan will not relent. He's not the kind of guy you want to test limits with.
VERBAL MANNERISMS. Here, have a listen to the voice of an angel.

Jonathan has a super proper British accent, and somehow manages to speak very formally even when his words aren't. He's usually got a very gentle and easygoing tone, but when he gets worked up his not-so-secret shonen side explodes onto the scene and he's shouting and screaming all over the place.

Even though he's a ray of sunshine and optimism, there's always this weird air of sadness around him. It's almost like he's a magnet for tragedy or something.
