RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.

Character's powers: being a troll, having a sylladex (hammerspace that works like a gaming abstraction), and limited hemokinesis (controlling his own blood) and empathic perception through blood (aka he can sense emotions through blood so if you stand near him or bleed on something while feeling feelings he's gonna feel those feelings)

Where does your character live?: in house 10 with ruka, rikku, anna and elizabeth
Are you looking for roommates?: alas, the house is full
What is your character's job?: he is a part time peer counselor at the local youth center so if you play a youth that wants angry counselling today's your lucky day

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:
skills include shouting at people, shouting at himself, shouting at inanimate objects, offering surprisingly sound and reasonable advice (particularly concerning relationships) to those who solicit it, refusing to take his own sound and reasonable advice, sickle combat and roping people into talking about troll romance.
likes include troll romance, romance movies, gross sappy shit, arguing with people on the internet, programming (terribly), video games, ice cream, his friends and when his friends don't die and/or kill each other (or him). dislikes include friends killing each other and/or him, himself in general, everything in general, he can get offended in an empty room what the hell do you want from me.
as for urgent needs a reality check and a slap in the face are always high on the list. recently he's been struggling with the "hero" thing, having done a heroic sacrifice during endgame only to find the person he died to save never made the universe cross, and so he has an odd mix of accomplishment (in sparing them from blowing up) and failure (in that it didn't make a difference either way). also, his vigilante npc buds he was dabbling in "heroism" with all died, so that's a bummer.
What are your character's plans?: mostly revolving around familiarizing himself with a new earth. goddang he was just getting used to the last one.
Does your character have a secret identity?: he does not. yet.
Is your character open for pairings?: yes, but holy emotional baggage, batman. moirallegiance is mostly out due to pining horribly for miss ruka, however.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: yes to getting hurt! let me know what you got in mind. as for hurting others, he's not the type to start fights, but he'll finish them if he's forced to.
Is your character interested in teams?: he isn't, but i am! he can be talked into it.

i have a part time peer counselor. you have someone who qualifies as a "peer". tell him your problems and let him give you rude but strangely solid advice.
- shitty role models
karkat has a canon tendency to idolize the Wrong People. like, a dude stabs him regularly and he brushes it off as just being the way he says hello, because said dude has the same blood color as he does. even after the dude's alternate self literally kills everyone, explodes multiple planets and an entire universe, he's still like "well that's not MY jack". i really want to play with this tendency! particularly because he's going through a very impressionable phase and i'd like to play around with bad influences and see where that takes us. karkat's idolization of people is through a sense of kinship/understanding, generally.

let's do a fight scene. or a hero scene. explosions we don't look back at. alternatively, sparring, bc karkat's probably super fucking rusty with that sickle of his in actual combat by now, he only ever practices by himself (and looks like a doofus).

karkat is a really ridiculous character from a really ridiculous canon. if you want stupid shit, stupid shit is what i'll supply. i had him have an emotional breakdown over being unable to make a sandwich once. don't test me.

she is occasionally a 5 year old stuck in a 21ish year old body. she likes shiny things and leaving her tools and other mechanical building materials everywhere and stays up late playing video games and binging on soda and white cheddar-flavored popcorn. she is into milkshakes and buying expensive clothes, but only when she has to because otherwise she'll steal them. she is an auto mechanic in heropa so she will have some kind of oil or grease on her person 95% of the time. she blows things up as a form of stress relief. her power is technopathy which includes mentally controlling up to 5 homemade drone machines, which she will probably make do things like take out the trash and paint her nails. she believes whole-heartedly in true love and thought she'd found it with her city-boyfriend santo, but since he's gone she's sure that it was a test-run for the real deal (not that she doesn't steal love him, but a girl can't wait around forever).
that said, she is a very loyal person to those she cares about and is pretty chill about things like the end of the world since she saved her world twice before she was 18, nbd. her main priorities lie with her own family, present and (hopefully) future. she loves her family so much that on at least one occasion she kidnapped her cousin to keep her from dying. she is outgoing, bubbly, loud, considered annoying by those who love her most, and likes to gesture widely with her arms while speaking so watch out she might accidentally smack you. she does not like when people are dickish to her friends, and would totally punch a dude for mouthing off. do not try to deflate her ego because at this point in her life she is full of so much self-confidence that it's going to drown out any bad juju she could possibly feel. that said, she is all about calling out people on their own bullshit, and is pretty good at recognizing her own. in her opinion, if she had a middle name it would be "awesome." she can be selfish and super rude but really, what girl can't. and anyway she thinks she makes up for it with her winning personality and adorable dimples.
