RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: SKILLS: anything black ops/assassination-related, chess, and staring mournfully at the horizon. LIKES: trying new foods, horror movies, kids, and competitive games, especially if they're physical (touch football). DISLIKES: people who use others and hurt kids/sex workers, people trying to control her. Cages.

What are your character's plans?: Find out who brought her here and why there's no immediate danger/monsters/villains/traps/cages etc and then we'll see.

Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Maimed, tortured, blasted into space... I'm fine with all of it. She can recover from pretty much anything.
Is your character interested in teams?: Yes.
What kind of plots are you after?: I primarily want to play with her exploring her autonomy and identity, so plots that force her into confronting/building more of her emotional/social boundaries. FRIENDS. It'd be nice if she could find an older brother/sister figure (hi Gambit) to bond with as well.

and NEGATIVE CR, I love it. I'd like to explore her fears and self-esteem issues (pretty much a pre-req when it comes to the autonomy/identity thing). Manipulation would be good, betrayal, etc.

Really though anything is fine with me! She's not exactly a social butterfly, so the more opportunities, the better.

This guy also has a truck full of autonomy/identity issues so they might be fun to throw at each other sometime. Hard to say if it would end up friendly cr or negative cr but either could be interesting.

HAHA no kidding. yes, that would be amazing. either type of CR would be good with me, I think they'd have some interesting conversations at the very least? I'll have her hit him up the next time he posts or start stalking his threads... a log might eventually be cool too.

I think they would too! we can have them start talking and see what develops from there for sure; it'll probably take a few conversations for anything to solidify anyway. and I'd love a log at some point!

Peej like horror movies, too. Also given Laura's past and her becoming her own person, I think she and Peej might click? Peej has always been good with superpowered teens and playing a big sister/guardian sorta figure.

I would really love that, I think having someone like Peej here would make a big difference and that they would definitely click (after inevitable initial awkwardness from Laura). We could have them meet up in-person or on the network? It'll probably be a bit before Laura makes her first post to everyone, but I could always have her hit Peej's stuff up!

In person works. Perhaps a log then? Peej is unsettled and has no interest in registering, but she can be found around the city in costume. Maybe saving kids from getting hit by cars or rescuing kittens from trees. Endless possibilities!!

I'm definitely enjoying their current thread and would be interested in continuing on CR from there. Ellie is really drawn to the idea of being able to help/fix people who have emotional issues so maybe she could help Laura explore her autonomy and work on social interaction things?

One day I'm going to learn to look for what journal I'm logged in to. I'm so used to communities having it set that only people who are members can comment that this is the fourth time it's happened

I'm enjoying it too, and I'd like that! I think they should meet up in person to get some of the mutual paranoia out of the way, and we could build from there? Any ideas?

Me too, logging is my favorite. And that would work. I'm not 100% on whether Laura will stay registered or not (I thought they all came registered? I may need to reread), I'm still deciding where I want to take that.

kanaya was friends with the last laura we had, in a self-destructive teenagers with issues who frequently take advantage of rapidly healing kind of way. it'll be a bit awkward at first, especially since they're the same age now and kanaya's done a lot of growing up since, but i'd be totally down for seeing how their cr will go from that

I can't really offer anything but negative CR with this character, but since you're into that--! Lust has zero autonomy issues to bring to the table, tragically, but she does have a.) basically the same power set as Laura but much less cool and entirely lacking in raw Canadian sex appeal, b.) a really shitty personality with sadistic and manipulative tendencies, c.) also this one time in the very distant past she and an old Wolverine got into a grudge match in a supermarket and cranberry sauce went flying everywhere. So it might be fun to throw her Laura's way sometime, idk!

YES I WOULD LOVE NEGATIVE CR WITH LUST. Laura has a lot of experience with predatory older women with sadistic and manipulative tendencies, so I think this'll be interesting! I could throw Laura at her on the network and we could build to a log from there? I'd be fine with having Lust mess with her, too... however you'd want to do that.

That sounds great to me! Lust is pretty practical in some respects (the ones that don't involve as much stabbing), so any messing would probably be a slow burn kind of thing based on whatever her perception of Laura ends up being, but I guess we can see what happens and then go from there.

Laura and Kate CR would make my day. I think they could be really interesting together.
