Isaac and Cole got off to a rough start, but I think developing the CR further would be awesome for both of them! Isaac knows a thing or two about seeming insane, and he's never really had anyone look up to him before.

The kid needs someone to look after him, though, and Isaac would at least help out with that!

I think so too! From what I've seen of Isaac, he could possibly serve as a continuation of the relationship Cole had with dr Malcolm in the movie!

MANAKA GENUINELY LIKES KIDS and also he's about the same age as Manaka's younger sister was the last time she saw her, and also also Manaka is a very firm believer in the idea that there's nothing wrong with being different from normal people, so I'd like to pursue more CR with the two of them in the future! I am not sure if she would be the best influence, but she's accustomed to looking after younger children since she took over some childrearing responsibilities after her mother's death, so...

Cole's a relatively wary boy, but I would love to have someone serve as a bad influence over him in the game. I'll keep an eye out for future cr!

Emma loves kids, especially mutant kids, which Cole would pretty much count as for her purposes. Also, if his power can be controlled (I have no idea if it can), Emma would be the person to teach him how.

Also, she's incredibly good at astral combat if he needs her to kick the crap out of any ghosts. (That awkward moment when comics narrative conventions meet dramatic ones...)

there's no pointers in the movie if his power can be controlled, but he does learn to just face the ghosts and help them get to the other side! it all depends on what the spirit wants, that is. some just want to damage the boy, others do freaky things to get his attention and help.

as for astral! i just have his power listed as 'medium', so if the mods are okay with it, astral projection could be a possible headcanon development of his abilities!

w.r.t. spirits, i feel like some kind of spoopy shenanigans are overdue to happen with housemates (and they just got a dog, it'll be great...) I'LL NEED TO PING OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED if they're down for it, but would you be interested in doing something with that? whether it's patching him up after he gets hurt or having to actually deal with experiencing something...

not necessarily limited to housemates, either!! combine that general pool party idea with traumatizing a small child? :|a just tossing out ideas.

Ace still needs to meet him! I wasn't sure if I should tag into his network post or not, since I'm trying to decide how Ace feels about that thing, buuut he would definitely want to go sit in Cole's room as long as there's a ghost there.

He's dealt with ghosts and spirits before in his canon, so he gets how those can be.
