RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Eddie possesses a genius intellect, a knack for deduction, an assortment of esoteric knowledge, a narcissistic complex, and a tendency towards obsession. He's had a running rivalry with Norman Osborn, which may take an uncanny turn given that they're put in a position of possibly working for a common goal.
What are your character's plans?: Eddie thinks it's imperative to undermine the government's surveillance somewhat, and he's interested in laying down the foundations for an underground network, if logically necessary.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nah.
Is your character open for pairings?: Nope, he's in a relationship with Felicia.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Always up for getting down and dirty. He's a reformed villain, so he won't seek out harming people needlessly (such isn't quite his M.O. regardless).
Is your character interested in teams?: Eddie's rarely a team player.
What kind of plots are you after?: I'd be interested in predicaments that might defy governmental will -- the kinds of things that could have negative consequences, in other words.

Sweet! Do you have any inclination on how you'd like the reveal to unfold?

well, i was thinking about having karkat try to change the subject to put eddie under heat instead of him by bringing up vague references to the whole "i know you got tortured horribly and who did it" thing, which could lead to talk of eridan, which could lead to the discovery that karkat's switched alignments.

The directness would certainly catch Eddie off-guard! A betrayal on both ends, since he would confront Eridan about his MESSINESS with regards to keeping mum.

Do you want to discuss what their relationship would look like? (I've decided not to have this guy subconsciously associate Eddie with his older brother just because of the name, because it sounded too extreme.)

YES let's talk! I don't doubt that the name Deadshot would be infamous to Eddie's circles (even his prior circles, what with the whole reformation thing), but if you want to keep mum of the reveal of Floyd being one in the same, we can work with that! If Eddie is clued in, I can see him being tense and perhaps even territorial -- at least, with regards to Felicia.

WHICH could led up to a warming point of villains over drinks, maybe? I'm always keen on those moments.

I actually have no intention of keeping his identity mum at the house--since Floyd has always been bad at keeping a secret identity and pretty much considers his Deadshot persona to be his actual one--but he would be trying to keep it, or at least the very sordid nature of his identity, sort of a secret from complete strangers that live outside of the house, so Eddie could be clued in there! Ooh, and I'd be good with the other stuff too!

Sounds great! I imagine Eddie would act fairly cautiously, at first, perhaps even keeping his tongue in check. Having been in the City, before Heropa, he's used to the whole AU possibility -- but regardless, any Deadshot is one is reckon with!

I'm sort of busyish now for the next 2-3 weeks, but are you interested in doing a log? (I see that you already have a couple of logs on your plate, and so I don't really want to add to that plate at an inopportune time.)

No problem! That sort of thing happens! Most likely, I'll send a pm in the second week of March! We can easily come up w/ an ic-reason why it's taken them so long to finally talk--Floyd did shoot Lust, and he has been holing himself in the museum during the virus break-outs. We can figure out the finer details when the time comes!
