CR MEME!!
How does this work? It's easy!
- ⒈ Make a thread for yourself or a comment with your character's name on it. Reply to that post with your filled out forms for organization's sake.
⒉ Comment to other people! See if their answers fit anything you're looking for and if yours fit anything they are. Don't be intimidated, carpe diem, we like to party.
⒊ Keep checking back! We strongly encourage you to track top-levels even, if possible. New characters may get accepted and post to this meme after today and we want to make sure everyone gets their fair shot.
⒋ Play nice and have fun!
( THE BASICS )
Name: Your character!
Canon: Self-explanatory!!
Character's (approximate) age: Or how old they appear.
Character's powers: List and describe them!
Is your character registered/will they be?: Why or why not! Maybe unsettled heroes will want to make connections with each other. Maybe registered heroes will want to team up. So on!
Where does your character live?: What housing residence are they in? Meet your roommates if you haven't already, make plans!
Are you looking for roommates?: If your character is currently housing alone, or planning to move out of their assigned housing. Is your character considering moving to one of our other cities? See who else might be doing the same!
What is your character's job?: And are they sticking with it? Enjoying it? Coordinate with potential coworkers, employers, or patrons -- why not!
( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.
What are your character's plans?: Either what they're doing as we speak or what you'd like to do with them!
Does your character have a secret identity?: Since this can get confusing at times. Is your character a superhero with a public identity or do just a few people know who they are? List them, even!
Is your character open for pairings?: Useful to know! Possibly.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: If yes, how much and in what circumstances?
Is your character interested in teams?: Registered hero teams are very well-received around these parts, as you might guess. If yes, coordinate with possible teammates and see if you can put something together!
What kind of plots are you after?: Let the brainstorming commence. This can be as vague, specific, or "big picture" as you'd like.
Anything else?: If you have anything else to add!

hey
kanaya
you know you want to share and hear sharon's opinions on what makes a good romance novel
and her endless search to find that niche writing here again yes?
no subject
at least she still has crescent, it's like an artifact from a dead universe. i'm sure everyone from the city will be proud to know that their lasting legacy is a bad ya romance series about superheroes.
no subject
as long as kanaya listens to her wondering where the heck all the heroines are who train their heroes/boys to listen and obey and treat them like proper ladies while being properly trained without them fully aware or with them fully aware
it's so sweet
that kind of love
men require a firm hand, you see!
so yes this other stuff she can get behind too, though from that angle in general
no subject
and then be like "i never thought of that as a romance, just an absolute necessity"
but it could be pale maybe, it's been a long time since she accused a human of doing a quadrant
and then if they're getting into telling niches she'll show her arrested restraint
no subject
she'd love to have kanaya's perspective
for reasons
and hahahah yes good all the niches and all the hmmmm noises over it
no subject
but the thing about arrested restraint is she is by no means the person it's most telling for, just probably more obviously since she'll actually talk about them and acknowledge she's read them
no subject
... and she feels like nelson is owed a round of congratulations /laughs

his porn was kind of weird to start with and it's not quite to her tastes for exactly the reasons it's weird but she was still disappointed by it
no subject
only it's called romance and one must never sully the idea by calling it pornographic, it's simply detailed and probably purple... prose...y....
... with some amazing idioms if we go by Victorian era slang
see Kanaya now you too need to write it not-weird
no subject
she has her girlfriend to do the writing

make it all work!
