LOL ANNIE people are assholes in pretty much every universe... Kid would be kind of sad that that's the parallel that she found, but on the other hand, he'd totally understand why.

Alas, SE peeps are almost always LCWs anymore! But Kid actually does pretty well as a LCW, so it's not bad. For things I'd like him to grow into, HMMM... I think this'll be a pretty good test for his independence, not having that net of people he's grown into relying on that I mentioned above.

Definitely getting a better handle on handling his symmetry obsession would be a big thing. I love exploring it, I have a lot of headcanon about it (I think this is a staple for all Kid players lmao) and I like playing it maybe a little less comically than he gets trope'd for? Like, it's humourous on one level, but it's also a real thing he struggles with, and that part's not going to go away any time soon, so learning some new methods of coping with it when it gets pretty bad for him.

For Annie, she talks to a lot of people! Who are her best and worst CR in game right now (bonus: why?)

oh god, best and worst CR...

worst is easiest to start with: Lunatic. as in with him, there's a lot of antagonism, and neither one is or will be killing each other though there's this convoluted promise that he would that he's never going to get to follow through on. HAHA, LUNATIC. HAHA, YURI. honestly she was going to ignore the guy and not engage until she saw her fellow shifters engaging, and then she was like shit I need to do damage control, and made it worse. so. lesson one: don't assign annie to damage control.

it's snowballed from there, to where she's saved his life before (HA.........HA) and to where she's failed to protect people from him, and they died (blair...), but she's been a thorn in his side and he in hers simply because of how she takes him at his word where he thinks all he does is WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN but also sees that he's a cheapskate and wants the easy way out: for the innocent to take his life when all the guilty are gone. screw that. he doesn't deserve that. he needs atonement time, SO HE SHOULD GET SOME! that's why she'll be happy to shove him in jail. stew over your own deeds, yuri, stew! everyone else has to do it, welcome to the party.

as for BEST cr it's probably easiest to say closest CR according to annie? that'd be people like reiner braun, will graham, houka inumuta, kanaya maryam, aracely, ken kaneki... most those kinds of people because they've a) dealt with her in various capacities by now and b) for their own reasons had their agreements and disagreements but have, overall, helped her in some way where they did not need to. these are people she cares for to some extent, and the people they're attached to are ones she pays attention to in her own way as well (and just as often likes, but less closely). she has a second echelon after that, with people like tony stark, commander shepard, elsa, kay faraday, jayden zharkov on a decent day, people to whom she is thankful in different regards, for whom she has respect, but who aren't on her list of first to call... which is amusing, when her legal guardians (on paper) are in the second echelon, not the first.

the difficult thing with her is she talks with many people, she'll interface and work with them, but she gives very, very little of herself. people have to want it to get it or collect what she says in small snippets. she doesn't try to impress people, often can piss people off, and not be as pissed off by the same things when they're directed at her in turn. she accepts that young people can achieve big things, she accepts that there are all kinds of realities people come from, but like with... say, moses a few months ago, she's not going to do your work for you. if you want to run a dog get together, do the damn legwork yourself. she's under no obligation to do it for you.

and she's under no obligation, and with no practice, to coddle anyone, so doesn't bother. liking someone doesn't mean you get a softer annie. you just probably realized that she's blunt partly because that's how she can care, and if she's being so blunt at you, she gives enough of a shit to be paying attention. THOUGH... THAT'S NOT SO FLATTERING? why does she have people who tolerate her it is a mystery

Lunatic is actually Kid's worst CR too, just by association. Kid is on good terms with Dorian Gray, so when Lunatic killed him, that was not only MURDER BAD but something that Kid took personally. Lunatic reminds Kid of the pre-kishin demons in his world, so he's offered to help track him down.

For best, Kid's definitely indebted to Kate Bishop for helping him get current with information and for extending the offer to join the Young Avengers. He's also getting along well with Laurie Collins, who's also part of that team. And he's kinda-sorta donned responsibility for Dorian after learning that the man is missing his soul, which Kid is like NO THAT'S BAD YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND even though it's hardly his business and Dorian is probably like "okay seriously drop it and shoo".
