Kat here - Korra's player thinking of applying with a character from a relatively obscure character and an older character I previously played.

Hatori Chise is from Ancient Magus Bride and a young teenage witch being trained/sort of dating a skull-headed immortal sorcerer thing??? One of the powers I'm re-working into the power slots is unintentionally leeching magic off of ambient sources. That is, basically any magically powered imPort. If that's the sort of the Shenanigans you'd be down for I'd love to play her here.

Also up for tentative consideration is Miranda Lawson from Mass Effect.

Seriously it's a SUPER cute movie that's coming out on iTunes (in the US) real soon, orrrrr you can find it elsewhere I am sure! Either way the characters are great and the setting is fun and I want buddies so badly. You should app from the Pretty Cure franchise because holy shit, it's been around for ten or so years, you have like a bajillion options. want somebody who's loud and exuberant and annoying? Cure Marine from Heartcatch. want someone who'll heal up the bad guys and try to befriend them with food? Cure Honey from Happiness Charge. want a shy superhero fangirl? Cure Peace from Smile. want a fashion-conscious perfectionist? Cure Berry from Fresh. want the one that's voiced by Annie Leonhardt? wait a few months and then app Cure Flora from Princess. gifs will be spammed if you look at the image and tell me 'oh hey, the yellow one with the pigtails looks interesting' or 'what the fuck is up with the green one's hair' or anything like that, because I am nothing if not a shameless enabeler. Hi there! I'm Greer-Gon's player-and I'm pretty set on apping Locke Lamora from Scott Lynch's The Lies of Locke Lamora/Gentleman Bastard Sequence to the game! For those that don't know, Locke's a charming/smartass fantasy-renaissance thief/con-man who uses a variety of disguises and personalities to con/steal people out of their money. At one point he also gets shoved into a barrel of horse pee. That's how much people love him.

ANYWAY, I have two questions for anyone who's willing to answer:

1. Would anyone be up for helping/being conned in a long-term con-artist plot?

and

2. What should his goofy power be? I've got two dumb choices right now and am always open for more. One is the power to literally turn his tongue to silver (get the pun) and the other is the ability to turn wine to... horse pee because I'm nothing if not classy.

aside from being fabulous, ditey has multiple cases of experience in reality altering because of the fates, so she knows how to set that junk to right. in her canon, you have to destroy the Loom of the Fates, which is usually just a normal albeit magical loom that as per greek myth you have to BURN TO THE GROUND before everything can revert to how it should be. if she was in the game, she'd probably stick to her guns on this; that the loom could feasibly be anything (computerized! man-made! magical!) but it will need rooting out and annihilating before anyone can go home.

i think it would be an interesting angle for her to introduce! also she can make hot-tub spas appear in your house, who doesn't want that.
