Kat here - Korra's player thinking of applying with a character from a relatively obscure character and an older character I previously played.

Hatori Chise is from Ancient Magus Bride and a young teenage witch being trained/sort of dating a skull-headed immortal sorcerer thing??? One of the powers I'm re-working into the power slots is unintentionally leeching magic off of ambient sources. That is, basically any magically powered imPort. If that's the sort of the Shenanigans you'd be down for I'd love to play her here.

Also up for tentative consideration is Miranda Lawson from Mass Effect.

Hi there! I'm Greer-Gon's player-and I'm pretty set on apping Locke Lamora from Scott Lynch's The Lies of Locke Lamora/Gentleman Bastard Sequence to the game! For those that don't know, Locke's a charming/smartass fantasy-renaissance thief/con-man who uses a variety of disguises and personalities to con/steal people out of their money. At one point he also gets shoved into a barrel of horse pee. That's how much people love him.

ANYWAY, I have two questions for anyone who's willing to answer:

1. Would anyone be up for helping/being conned in a long-term con-artist plot?

and

2. What should his goofy power be? I've got two dumb choices right now and am always open for more. One is the power to literally turn his tongue to silver (get the pun) and the other is the ability to turn wine to... horse pee because I'm nothing if not classy.

aside from being fabulous, ditey has multiple cases of experience in reality altering because of the fates, so she knows how to set that junk to right. in her canon, you have to destroy the Loom of the Fates, which is usually just a normal albeit magical loom that as per greek myth you have to BURN TO THE GROUND before everything can revert to how it should be. if she was in the game, she'd probably stick to her guns on this; that the loom could feasibly be anything (computerized! man-made! magical!) but it will need rooting out and annihilating before anyone can go home.

i think it would be an interesting angle for her to introduce! also she can make hot-tub spas appear in your house, who doesn't want that.

Very, very tech-heavy in how he works. This dude has plenty of experience working against heroes while at a disadvantage, so he'd be trying to pull the wool over everybody's eyes and present a false front. He can't tip his hand from the start, after all! HE FOUGHT A JAPANESE POWER RANGERS TEAM YOU HEROES ARE NOTHING

Some of his canon abilities I might try to rework into power slots are monster-making, power mimicry, and traveling along data/energy paths, just to name a few. I'm still sorting out what I want to keep and what I'm tossing.

anyway! i am offering up quite a number of possible candidates, mostly because i just want to take time and figure out who would be the best fit. the main ones i'd like to bring in are randall ascot from professor layton and the miracle mask because he's all about adventure and cool shit like that!! he even knows how to fence, go him. he's super outgoing so making friends and stuff would be no problem.

another would be raven from teen titans! the animated one. because she's already got the hero thing going on, she knows what's up, she's got this. but she is a bit of a loner, so cr might be a struggle at times.

third possibility is mirai kuriyama from beyond the boundary(or kyoukai no kanata, whichever you prefer). she's good at battling, got her own awesome special powers, and cute as fuck. that's important.

LASTLY on the main list is ben tennyson fromben 10 because oh my god playing a cocky asshole who does genuinely care sometimes can just be the most fun and he wants to hang around all you heroes.

Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue! A grumpy, spiky-haired loser with a chip on his shoulder and a never-ending bag of insults and bitter remarks. Can reach speeds up to mach 20 when the word "ghost" is mentioned. Likes cute things despite being a huge jerk.



Nui Harime from Kill la Kill! AKA the actual best girl, eat your heart out Nonon. Nui is a very kind and generous young lady, always willing to share her massive scissor blade with the hearts of people everywhere...

By stabbing them. In the heart. She's also creepy as all get out and somehow manages to warp reality to the point where she runs on cartoon physics.



Valvatorez from Disgaea 4! He's a massive dork who happens to be all about camaraderie, honor, and a bunch of other undemonlike traits. Val is very fond of theatrics, often hamming it up to the point where he practically devours the scenes around him as quickly as he does the sardines he prattles on about nonstop. He's also a vampire who doesn't drink human blood, because of a promise he made 400 years ago.

Oh, and he's voiced by Troy Baker. That's probably the most important bit.

And finally:



Everyone's favorite nurse robot, Baymax from Big Hero 6! Created by our very own Hiro's brother Tadashi, Baymax's prime directive is to help people via maintaining their physical and mental/emotional health, treating them when necessary. He's chuck full of various treatment methods, data on just about every disease and illness you can imagine, and lollipops!
