Ruka is.......one of those people that Mitchell still doesn't really understand? Like he knows that she's able to see and hear more than she lets on. She's either eerily perceptive, or has a jump on it with her powers, and no offense, ruka, but considering her age, mitchell thinks it's all to do with her powers. Which obviously led to her working for him, too bad he never figured it out.

Although he's nervous around her, skittish. He's mostly concerned that some of the things that she saw in City Hall, despite being kind of...not really obvious things, would be enough for her to figure him out, and that is something that he just can't let happen, obviously!!

But he likes Ruka, too. She doesn't... even when she pries, she doesn't make him talk about it, and instead just sort of sits in silence, which was nice for him. She got his coffee order right, and didn't push him out of his comfort zone, which for Mitchell was vital when he was in the City, since now it's something he's used to. All in all, he wants Ruka to succeed wherever she goes, even though he definitely doesn't want it to be close to him.
