Death the Kid | Soul Eater

They've only interacted once, but Sabriel!

Kid is very interested in learning more about Sabriel, because despite the necromancer term, the brief description of what she does in her world is extraordinarily similar to what Kid and his father do, and that's really astonishing to him. He has made some friends here but he hasn't really connected with anyone on the whole death aspect thing, and that's even something that carries over from his own canon, because Shinigami is kind of tight-lipped about some things?

From their conversation, Kid appreciated that she's got a good head on her shoulders, and obviously cared enough about her duty to ask about it here even after just arriving, so that made a really good impression on him. Also that she's well spoken and intelligent; he didn't have to explain the deid bell to her.

HE IS BAFFLED because he really doesn't know what to think of her yet?? She seems nice and that's good, but he's still trying to get his head around the whole "I'm everywhere here and there" part, because Kid and his father aren't really... they don't quite have the same aspect as Didi does, they're more guardians of death (and order, etc) than the actual force of.

THAT SAID he is a mix of curious and nervous and like what if she doesn't think he's a good version of Death and then he's all like wait why does that matter what she thinks and yeah, he's pretty scattered over the whole thing.

how about Kid & Dorian

Kid feels so inexplicably responsible for Dorian, it's not even funny it's a little bit funny He feels like he has to look out for him, but not in a "he can't take care of himself" kind of way, but more in a "this shouldn't have happened to someone, why can't I fix it" sort of perception, which for Kid is A Thing.

He likes Dorian's sense of humour, and he might have not really demonstrated it well, but he appreciated Dorian giving him even the abbreviated version of how he came to be missing a soul. Because not having any context for that would have really caused Kid a good deal of stress. He still doesn't like that Dorian doesn't have a soul, but it's not like it's the man's fault, and he didn't go evil over it, so that's something.

If/when Kid finds out that Dorian killed Lunatic, I don't think he's going to be appalled or anything? More disappointed, but he gets it, he gets why it would have happened. With Lunatic gone from MoM now, I think Kid will just let the issue go and not really give him much grief over it, at the end of the day.

FTR he did not vote for Dorian and is kind of glad Revan won the ambassador seat instead of him. Kid likes Dorian but he thinks the position would probably have gone to his head a little.
