NOT AS MUCH OF A JERK AS HE COULD BE, I GUESS?? SURPRISINGLY FUN TO ANNOY.

Ok no, but seriously, Klarion really, really disliked Wally at first. When Klarion first showed up in Heropa, Wally already knew who he was, which was confusing as hell (and Klarion hates it when people have the advantage over him), and from Klarion's POV, Wally was blaming him for stuff that his version of Klarion had done. TWO STRIKES AGAINST WALLY, WHAT A DICK. This opinion didn't really go away, even if their conversations started becoming less hostile over time.

... But then Klarion got zapped by lightning, and instead of giving him a hard time about turning into a steampunky religious maniac, Wally listened to Teekl and actually tried to snap him out of it, and when that didn't work, he just made sure that Klarion wasn't gonna hurt anybody or himself. He was also weirdly sympathetic about the whole almost being burned at the stake thing (everyone's pretty ok with stake-burning in Limbo Town, and nobody had ever said 'wow jeez that's horrible nobody should ever do that' to him before), and taught him about CAPSLOCK even though he didn't have to. WHERE DID THIS NICENESS COME FROM, WTF. Between being embarrassed about the religious mania/stake-burning and confused about sudden niceness, Klarion's just taken to annoying the shit out of Wally because it's easier than having a normal conversation with him, and his reactions are hilarious.

So basically Wally's gone from being a total jerkface to being that obnoxious dude in the back of the classroom who tosses scrunched-up paper balls with 'U SUK' written on them at the back of his head. Wally's still annoying, but he's not actually a bad person, and harassing him is just as much fun as turning him into a turtle or something would be.
