Death feels a little bit more of a connection to Clark than she does some people, because she knows that his history - specifically, the destruction of Krypton - happens to be the direct result of an idea her sister, the first Despair, hatched. Of course, bad stuff happens in the universe so she knows it is what it is, but the Endless directly doing something is worth noting.
