I don't know if this is 'everyone in MoM has pokemon now' or a PokeAU meme, but if the latter then this was the only pokemon she started out with. Everyone else just started following her along the way.

Dusknoir: The pokedex entry has implied that this thing is basically the Grim Reaper of the pokemon world. This one's totally hanging around Hazel with the hope it can right the wrongness of her existence and cross her over for good.

Banette: Hey, she was technically on a mission of revenge. Even if it's not a vendetta that she agrees with or cares about, it attracts certain things. Things like grudge doll pokemon.

Pumpkaboo: It's a spirit trapped in this world that tries to help other spirits cross over. Firstly it's fucking adorable and secondly it's once again Hazel in pokeform.

Spiritomb: It's composed entirely of trapped souls, just like hers is. Also before the introduction of fairy type it had no weaknesses, kind of like Hazel's own invulnerability.

Mismagius: In PokeAU this was totally Edith's pokemon that she forced Hazel to take in order to keep an eye on her. Regardless of which type of meme this is, this one is incredibly mean to her and delights in seeing her unhappy. She doesn't care for it much.

Yes, her team is intentionally all ghost type. No I don't have a problem you have the problem.

Piplup: so basically all of Hime's team is birds because her attacks tend to be more towards wind themed. HOWEVER, she's the one that uses the mermaid PreCard the most in canon, so of course she's got to have at least one bird that can swim with her.
Psyduck: Loser Streak Princess started off with a Loser Streak Pokemon. also, LOOK AT THIS THING, it's a massive adorable trainwreck and she'd get so annoyed by it and I love this idea so much
Spritzee: she's got to have at least one Pokemon that's fairy type because she hangs out with a fairy in canon, and Spritzee can fly and is mega cute.
Braviary: COURAGE BIRD. it fights to protect it's friends and fucking has brave in the name, this is so Hime's bird because her trait that gets referenced like every five episodes is courage. it's also like, the only one of her Pokemon that doesn't look way too fucking cute for it's own good.
Delibird: it's a bird that feeds you, hello there Hime's fave bird. also, it's an ice bird and one of her finishers is ice related.
Altaria: it's a big fluffy singing bird and in case you didn't know, there is a lot of singing in Hachapre.

Arcanine: DAAAANNY. Not only is Arcanine a suitable replacement for his actual childhood dog, it's also incredibly regal and almost always used by gentlemen trainers in-game. It even says that it's super loyal and its flames burn from within, come on.

Togekiss: I love the idea of Jonathan making friends with the pokemon that only shows up in peaceful areas and rewards people who are super nice and avoid unnecessary conflict. Especially since it can still probably kick your ass.

Hitmonchan: SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIIIIIIIIIIVE
But seriously, it's a pokemon that punches everything and is intensely courageous and never gives up despite its limitations. Perfect.

Gallade: Its pokedex entry literally calls it a master of courtesy that will fight to protect people. A gentleman pokemon for the real gentleman.

Aegislash: It has a talent for recognizing leadership, and legend says that the people it deems worthy will eventually become king. It's also a fantastic replacement for Luck&Pluck, being a fucking ghost sword.

Audino: Audino can heal pretty much everything and is capable of listening to people's heartbeats and understanding their emotions. Of course Jonathan is going to have one with how goddamn soft his heart is. He probably lets it cuddle with him on the couch at night, too.

liepard: majestic in appearance, but dangerous. known to vanish and reappear without warning. also a fast pokemon.
luxray: kate would want them in best possible shape, so final evolutions galore. keen eyesight, intimidating appearance.
zoroark: imposing figure. extremely protective of the people it cares about and will go to lengths to keep them safe. can hold a nasty grudge if their loved ones are harmed. evolved from zorua, which are typically mischievous. so maturity!!

Bibarel (Normal/Water) : Basically, Joseph just loves his collection of really dumb pokemon.
Scrafty (Dark/Fighting) : It can smash concrete blocks with its kicking attacks.

Marowak: I almost chose Cubone actually, mostly because I think I'm funny and his mother is dead. But to be honest, either one could work for him, I think.
Arcanine: Again I almost chose the non-evolved form with this ( so Growlithe ) but I mostly chose Arcanine for the running capability.
Pikachu: I needed to make this list mostly electric pokemon. This list was almost just a bunch of fire types, I'm not even kidding. Plus, he's basically Pikachu.
Dedenne: Yeah, I chose two mice looking pokemon. No shame. Seriously though, Dedenne's antennas kind of go with how Barry communicates with Team Flash while he's running.
Jolteon: I almost went with an Espeon for various reasons, but can't resist the allure of the Electric Eevee.
Shinx: The species is Flash pokemon, I couldn't have resisted that if I tried.

Scolipede: This doesn't represent anything, he just likes bug pokemon and Scolipede is one of his favourites. Though I guess he does share the whole 'relentlessly and mercilessly attack targets until they're dead' thing.

He can mega evolve his Banette and his mega evolution item is the Mega Collar. The stone is set into the metal. Very stylish.
