I've been considering apping a second character, and while I'm still very much on the fence about even going forward with a second character, I figured it wouldn't hurt to see if any of mine have any interest.

The Midnighter from The Authority/Wildstorm (not new 52)



Violence and hair dye enthusiast, who spends his days bashing in skulls in the name of making the world a better place, and spending his nights with his husband Apollo and his daughter Jenny. He's an unrepentant asshole with the ability to fight you a million times in his head before determining the most ruthless way to actually go through with it. His past his a mystery to him thanks to an asshole named Henry Bendix, but the past isn't something he tends to dwell on anyway, so it's not a problem for him. This is how he irons.

Obadiah Archer from Archer and Armstrong



Obie was adopted by leaders of a religious cult called the Dominion, and was trained as an assassin to eliminate their group's biggest threat: Aram Anni-Padda, aka Armstrong. None of this is as serious as it sounds, as he was raised in a creationist theme park, and the person he was trained to kill became his best friend when he realized his family had been lying to him the whole time. Since then, he and Armstrong have been getting themselves involved in crazy conspiracy after crazy conspiracy, while Obie attempts to figure out what he wants to do with his life. Archer's a pretty friendly guy, if not a little naive/unsure about how the world works vs. how he was raised to believe it worked, and thinks saying "H-e-double hockey sticks" is saying a dirty word. This is his attempt at "grim and gritty". He's also a literal deus ex-machina, as his Harbinger (think mutant) abilities allow him to tap into the Akashic field and pull out any ability that he needs, such as languages, skills, and the superpowers of other beings.

The Spider dates back to pulp novels in the 30s and 40s, but this incarnation from Dynamite has him in the present day. Richard is the son of a wealthy industrialist, and an army officer who went missing in action for several years, and when he returned home decided to use his skills to clean up the streets of New York as the Spider. He's sort of like if Spider-Man and the Punisher had a kid--crazy violent but never stops talking.

AXEL WALKER! Certified terrible teenager who decided one day that he wanted to be a supervillain, stole all of the original Trickster's stuff from storage, and started blowing stuff up and hanging out with hard drinking costumed men in their 40s. Dresses like the 90s threw up a baby punk clown. Follows superhero gossip on Tumblr, apparently, if the DCNU is to be believed. Makes an excellent pinata. Preboot or reboot, both are equally wonderful/awful. Bring me this poorly behaved puppy and let James throw him in a dumpster; retaliate by blowing up his apartment.

So, this is Lapis Lazuli. She's a gem from Steven Universe, which means she's a sentient rock alien with a multitude of really neat abilities! That's pretty cool!



This is also Lapis. She was unfortunately imprisoned in a mirror by the good guys' group and trapped there for thousands of years because she happened to be on the wrong side of a war for a planet she didn't even care about. Whoops.

But she's still a nice girl, really! Somewhere under the bitterness and tragedy and completely eroded social skills.

This is. Not the best sell, but the point is that I picked her up recently and was kind of toying with the idea of apping her to MoM. Would that be something people are interested in..?
