He still has this level of disassociation that probably won't go away any time soon, he doesn't view his human body as 'real' on a subconscious level so it's okay if he doesn't take care of it like he should, because it's not 'really him'.

He's just very used to having a data body and nothing else. It's useful for him, obviously, and he enjoys inhabiting it, but at the same time he's just kind of mildly ???? about it

as for his situation on the world right now, he's not surprised and he's not impressed...but at the same time he won't really act unless people he gives a shit about object, he's lazypassive like that

He's basically an AI who is very confused to be piloting a human body right now, is what he is (at least that's what he views it as). He's most comfortable sitting in someone's comm and talking or just being left to idle by himself and putter around in computers

he does actually hold the relative belief of 'most things that would be viewed as magic are indistinguishable from technology' - like now that he's here, he obviously realises there are people with what would be classed as magical powers and that's cool he's a nerd but also, technology does some pretty weird shit, and he's the result of humans basically building their way up to things that can create new life that's pure data. HE HAS THIS STRANGE RELATIONSHIP WITH TECHNOLOGY WHERE HE IS TECHNOLOGY...but also he's self aware enough of the advancement to be like "damn tech is pretty cool ain't it"
