Least favorite American laws.

Anything and everything to do with tax law, for one simple reason: everyone and their mother asks him about it. It doesn't matter that he specializes in criminal law. It doesn't matter that studying tax and property in law school felt like the academic equivalent of pulling teeth. There are still people, for whatever reason, who assume that just because he's a lawyer he knows everything about every law ever and expect him to be their personal consultant. It's obnoxious!

This headcanon brought t you by almost every law student I have met, who, regardless of what their field of study is, are constantly met with questions outside of their specialty.

P.S.: He also thinks that American drinking laws are a bit ridiculous. Europe doesn't have such strict laws, and somehow teenagers over there don't lose their goddamn minds over cheap, watered down beer. It's not something that seriously bothers him, though; it's just something that makes him roll his eyes whenever he thinks about it.
