favorite parts are probably anything with greenery. basically places that remind her of home. she's not too fond of all the really tall buildings and super advanced tech, but she'll get used to that

she's sort of learned to get used to it? it's really convenient being the same size as everyone, and she can still fly and shit. it kinda sucks not being able to fit inside trees anymore, but if she ever misses being her size, or feels that she's getting too comfortable at a human size, she can always shrink down to pixie size. it's something she's still adjusting to, and it does leave her feeling a little less helpless! she enjoys that much

and i mean, if she ever runs into trouble, she can just shrink down to size and make a quick getaway. CRAFTY LIL PIXIE

What kind of student would Zarina have been in a traditional school? Her favourite subject?

oh god she'd be SOME TEACHERS' FAVORITE and others would hate her

fey, i've been thinking on this all day, you better be ready

so her absolute favorite general subject is science. being specific on that, she adores chemistry. straight a the whole year, always gives 110% in labs and any hands on work, her notes are a complete mess, but she somehow makes sense of it bc it makes sense to her. she's always staying after when she can to talk to the teacher about thing, there's always a question on her mind, and the teacher probably gets a little sick of her sometimes!

any other subject? nope, fuck that. zarina hardly pays attention in history, english is a bore, she doesn't like math, but it's important for her experiments, so she tolerates it. phys ed is okay, she likes being able to run around, and despite being the biggest nerd in school, she's super athletic. since she probably cuts other classes so much, she helps out with the teams and stuff, practices with them. she's not peppy enough to be on the cheerleading team, but she'd take gymnastics or tumbling classes after school, and she's been trying to make a club for months. go out to competitions and stuff, that sort of thing.

she winds up in the principal's office a lot bc she goes a little crazy on class labs and after school labs (she's set off the fire alarm way too many times in one month, she's not allowed to work alone anymore). everyone sort of likes her, but she has a close kit group of friends she'd do just about anything for. there's probably a group or two of people that don't like her bc she ruined their project with some of her many misadventures. she's gotten in with the wrong crowd a couple times, whether it's to get chemicals for labs, or just hanging out with the wrong people who take advantage of her for homework.

she's also been permanently banned from the library. for many reasons.
