Crane is interesting to her because she can tell something is off about him, but she hasn't quite figured out if he's just a weird eccentric head shrink (which she has always thought therapists et cetera as, so no real surprise if so), or something more . . . I can't think of a word. Not necessarily sinister, since he hasn't given her reason to think he's a bad guy, but just--yeah, something feels off, that's the only way to put it.

She does appreciate some of the stuff she's learned from talking to him, though she'd never tell him that, 'cause he's smug enough already. She didn't read a whole book on Jungian ideas, but she read the wiki and was like huh, cool. And she red Poe and liked it fine, but then she found Lovecraft because of that and liked that more. So yeah. And she is still super grateful for him saving her from that evil hole, and she is still under onus to him for that.

She finds Castle super friendly and likable, which is sort of both a blessing and a curse, because it reminds her of her exhusband because he looks similar to him (damn characters being played by the same actor), but thankfully he's different enough from Jim she doesn't feel super bummed enough to avoid him. She enjoys bantering with him and maybe one day she'll ask if he has something she can read of his, but that seems like a rude thing to ask for some reason.

Castle would be more than happy to provide if she asks- he'll just leave out the story about a dashing rider aiding the distressed writer during a disease outbreak.

She found him friendly to talk to and was actually pretty intrigued in the whole magic thing. Even if it was just to see it and see if he was just doing science and calling it magic, it could still be interesting to see, like seeing a magician saw a woman in half or something.

Croach is very important to her, both because he's the only person she truly knows here in the game, and because of her recent getting back to her roots and coming to terms with her identity as someone between two worlds she can remember growing up with him in the tribe with fondness she hasn't been able to find in the past few years. Spending time with him in preparation for her trials and the time and "adventures" spent together here also reminded her she enjoys his company and that he is an amusing, strong and brave person. She loves strong and brave.

Along with coming to realize how much she's changed, she's seen Croach has changed, and that, along with everything else, has drawn her down the path of wanting to try to be in a relationship with him again. Before the flower event we're currently doing she was too scared, too, but even just him hugging her back so far has pretty much confirmed he gives her the absolute warm fuzzies and he feels like home. I mean, sure she's under the influence of something, but even without it she would feel it as strongly--it just gave her the prodding to actually get into those arms. She just wants to feel that homey feeling again, and she's 90% sure that's with Croach.

She finds Maria a capable person and thinks she seems strong and serious-minded, all traits she finds admirable. Especially in a fellow woman, because she knows how hard it can be to be a lady like that and be taken seriously and retain those traits despite any crap they may have gotten from menfolk. I don't think Red is aware of the fact she's from the far past, but she would probably be interested in hearing about it and be horrified to hear all the lack of amenities and such Maria had to live without. I mean, sure Red probably went without a proper bath for days on end on Mars, but at least she had the option to stop in for a glorious shower and use of a proper toilet.

In an alternate universe he would have gotten a kiss on the cheek for that date.

Anyway! Red likes Matthew, she thinks he's a bit of an ass, and definitely an idiot after the whole going into a zombie mess just to get booze, but he has a charm about him that she finds, well, charming. Plus, he didn't hold it against her for punching him in the dick and even got her a new hat, so that left a good impression on her. Also, despite her reprimanding her for his recklessness, she is happy to use it for her own means a la the gambling fight, so she likes him for that as well. B) If only he used it to do good!!

She obviously has no inkling of what he is and what terrible things he is capable of, and whenever she finds out it will honestly be heartbreaking if it's bad enough she has to dissociate herself from him, because she considers him a friendly acquaintance, one of few in this place.

She only spoke to him that once, but she was impressed by his willingness to aide her and was a little disappointed she didn't need the aide of his powers because she would like to see how they work compared to her own. She found him a bit mysterious (though not in a he's totally a spy way, but he was adept at telling her info while not revealing a lot) and would like to get to know him more just to see what sort of man he is. See if he warrants that good impression he gave her.

Will is one of the oddest folks she's met here yet but in that quiet sort of way. He's not super wacky or anything, but he strikes her as an eager puppy, which would probably suit him just fine, and she doesn't mind it because she doesn't find him threatening. If she saw/knew the more disturbing parts of him it would be another story, and she probably wouldn't be too surprised, tbh, but for now all is cool.

She also finds him easy to talk to, and likes bantering with him, epsecially when he's providing her information for new things. Although he finds her Marsness exciting, and while she did experience things normal Earth folks wouldn't, it was still pretty insular, and there's so much stuff here on Earth to experience compared to her times alone on the plains that she needs someone odd and friendly to point her to new things like shrimp and artichoke pizza.

Just...just not cannibalism, plz.

She's only spoken to her briefly, but those brief times were enough to tell Red this woman was absolutely no-nonsense, and she can admire that. She was very impressed by how Olivier handled the outbreak, and really appreciates her efforts because it was good to have a place to drop folks off and feel like they actually were as safe as could be.
