SO you know what? Despite the fact that I don't think they've ever had a single conversation where they haven't argued about something stupid, or at least bantered back and forth with each other, Minho actually likes Kanaya. They had a rocky start, and he could barely stand her when they first met, but something about her grew on him. He doesn't always agree with her, and sometimes kind of wants to smack her upside the head, because god do some of her decisions suck in his opinion, but he does genuinely like her and consider her a friend... thing.
As much of a pain as he thinks she can be, she's also one of the best people to do a back and forth thing, and can meet him tit for tat when he's being an obnoxious shithead (which is often). She's got an easy flowing sharpness about the way she speaks to him which he actually likes.
He's also gotten protective of her, which his hard, because she makes herself very hard to protect. He doesn't really like the fact that she will do things like offer herself up for experimentation (something he feels pretty strongly about anyway, for obvious reasons), or literally dare people to come kill her. He figures she can make her own choices, but he often thinks her own choices are dumb, and if she was putting herself in serious risk of a permanent death or damage he'd probably step in even if she was furious at him for it.
