THE TL;DR CR Meme
It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header. It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.
Kaito Kuroba and/or Kaitou KID
Or the other!
Or, hell, hit both!
just don't do it with a mop (or a chair, or a desk), that's Aoko's jobno subject

As Kaito, he finds Hattori strangely easy to get along with, especially since he was a detective and was freakin' ecstatic to find out he was a detective who didn't worship Holmes. If anything, Kaito was actually pleased to have someone from home who wasn't suspicious of him within two lines of talking to him, unlike Conan. Of course, he deliberately baited Conan just to see how far he could push things until the chibi tantei finally came out and said something to him. Then again, Hattori also didn't automatically assume that Kaito was from his world, even with the strong resemble to Kudo, so there's that too.
As for KID... well, unlike with Tantei-kun, KID's relationship with Tantei-han is somewhat different. Sure, they're still detective and thief, but their relationship isn't defined by the give and take that he was with Conan or even the 'I'm gonna prove who you are' mentally that Hakuba has for him. If anything, it's a relationship without the 'now you owe me' back and forth, and one built on mutual respect for each other's talents and connections. Which is kinda nice, considering that KID doesn't normally get that.
And he respects him enough that he gets a nickname. Make of that what you will. :)

ANYWAY.
Aoko. Aoko. Aoko.
Aoko has been Kaito's best friend since childhood and probably one of the very few things that's kept him going through a lot of things that's happened in his life: his dad's death and his mom's subsequent suffering of Kudo-parent-itis. While he might never actually publicly acknowledge it, he is forever thankful for Aoko watching out for him and both her and her father's welcoming of him into their home. She is one of the most important people in the world to him, which is why he makes sure to keep her as ignorant as he can about his nighttime job. While he's not proud of the things he's done (like drugging her) to keep her in the dark, he'd rather do things that he knows will make her hate him later, then risk her life in the things he's involved in. And considering that he life has been in danger at least once, if not more... yeah. He'd rather her alive and hating him, then dead. And he knows he can't give up his night job until he finds Pandora and nails the ones responsible for his dad's murder.
Of course, the fact that he likes her as more as a friend is the reason he enjoys teasing her. If she's pissed, she's pissed at him and he knows that he still has her attention. Plus, he suffers from that same aliment most pre-teen boys do - they show they like someone by teasing them. Kaito just tends to err towards the perverted side while doing it.

He's actually really thankful that she went out of her way to contact Aoko, because he really did want them to meet and knows that Aoko could use some friends besides him. Just don't teach her about the wrenches. And he honestly likes Winry and thinks she would be good for Aoko to be friends with. Also, they actually need to hang out sometime because really.
Then again, his criminal alter-ego is planning on offering to teach her boyfriend how to disarm burglar alarms, so there's that too.

...Please don't teach Ed more ways to get into trouble...

Well, he shouldn't have done something stupid on the network.

Winry did yell at him about it. And give him an idea on how to stop the siren. She's a good girlfriend.

He's a good phantom thief.

Somehow.

But KID makes it a point not to get caught. He'll make it a point to try and teach Ed that too.

Oh, geeze.
