TL;DR cr meme

THE TL;DR CR Meme

It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header.
2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

It's nothing personal.

I don't recall saying you were my friend.

GOOD. BECAUSE I HATE YOU. /end meme

JK. It's complicated is the best way to describe this CR. Walt doesn't outright hate Crane. He thinks Crane is fucked up in the head and dangerous -- always kind of has -- but even more so now that he knows someone Crane used his toxin on. But at the same time, Crane is one of the rare few chemists here and Walt can respect a chemist -- even if they do some pretty terrible things with that chemistry. (I mean, hello. Walt just made Chilton some tabun to have on him just in case Crane comes after him again.)

Now that Walt is team!Chilton, he does see Crane as a sort of enemy. He thinks Crane is a loose canon who might get Batman all up in his business and since Walt is only JUST establishing himself as Heisenberg here, he can't afford the risk. Crane also insulted Walt's pride by mocking him, and Walt doesn't take kindly to narcissistic injury. So while he once believed he and Crane could have been friends, Crane ruined it on purpose and now Walt wants to retaliate in some way.

He doesn't trust Crane to not attack the people he cares about. He worries that there will be some kind of retaliation now that he closed off his lab to Crane, and therefore, he needs to take the preemptive. Now Walt's very used to just murdering his problems away, but since that method doesn't exactly work here -- he's putting his faith in Chilton and hoping they can at least attack Crane where it hurts, his pride and chemistry.

Will makes Walt super uneasy. From their first face to face encounter to what Walt learned about him through Abduxel's snooping to what Chilton has said about Will Graham himself -- that Will is most dangerous when he empathizes. Walt is just like 'no. Stay away. I don't want you empathizing with me. >:[ >:[ >:['

He's also mildly jealous of Will, even though that would be pretty laughable if either Will OR Chilton knew. But Will is in a position of trust with Chilton. Which, you know, fine. Walt could deal with that because Will is from Chilton's world. But then he found out Will is one of Chilton's patients. And as much as Walt likes to claim he's not a patient, they're not having "sessions" they're having "meetings," and whatever else he can do to pretend like he's not in therapy with Chilton -- Walt admittedly likes the attention Chilton gives him. Chilton feeds his ego. Walt is Chilton's prized patient. And then Will Graham is there, lurking in Chilton's patient roster -- threatening Walt's spot at the top.

And as Walt and Chilton get closer, this jealousy and irrational hate for Will is probably going to grow. :'[ It's like the porter was looking out for him giving him that immunity to poisons.

Baby meth addict, come buy some meth!! Walt's cooking again~!

Hahaha but seriously. Walt thought she was....enthusiastic. That took him by surprise, but he didn't think negatively of her. She's...different. She thinks of this world in a far different way from him because he was bitter and resentful at first, whereas she embraces this place as a good thing. But there was something about her that kind of called out to his need to take care of people thus why he was totally down with sharing his funnel cake.

Their one interaction was positive. I think it would continue to be positive.

.......until Walt saw her with Jesse and then....you know what happens to Jesse's girlfriends. :'[

meth is very tempting

Jesse took her to Disney World and she will make no effort to hide that fact, sob. She's bragging all over the place about every new experience she has.

Walt genuinely likes Kotetsu. Kotetsu's just a really nice guy who seems to be a strong shoulder to lean on. And Walt doesn't even mind Kotetsu hanging around Jesse because Kotetsu is one of those rarities who registers as non-threat to his relationship with Jesse! But Walt super appreciates the way Kotetsu acted toward him when he was upset, and that goes a long way.

He's not going to trust Kotetsu with his most intimate secrets or anything, haha, but he is going to continue to have pleasant conversations and trust that Kotetsu will respect him which Walt will offer the same respect in return.

The most complicated CR to ever CR.

Walt loves Jesse. He truly, genuinely does. But he's always at this disconnect because he knows what happens in the future and he also knows if Jesse knew the things he knows in the future, he would hate him. Eventually, he'll lose Jesse forever. And Walt can't stand that. It kills him that their future is completely out of his control.

The first couple of months he was here, he was far worse at dealing with this -- ie going from loving Jesse one week to torturing him the next. But he's mellowed out since Easter and hasn't laid his hands on Jesse in a hurtful manner since. In part that's because of some advice Chilton gave him, and he thinks if he can shower Jesse with love and support right now then maybe, if Jesse goes home and comes back, there will be a chance for them to get back what they have. A very slim chance, but still a better chance than if Walt kept fucking torturing him every other week. >(

Now that they've gone back to cooking, Walt feels like things with him and Jesse are the best they've been. And he hopes things continue to look up from here. He still doesn't want to share Jesse with anyone, so Joel just makes him >:[ but Walt is willing to try getting along. It's the chance to redo the whole Mike thing and prove to Jesse things are good. SEE. LOOK. I'M DOING THIS FOR YOU.

.....except Walt and his pride, man. How long can that last before he busts out the poisons?

So Jesse was totally justified in his jealousy of Abduxel, because from the very moment Walt met Abduxel, he has kind of been priming Abduxel to take Jesse's place.

He knows one day things go to shit with Jesse. And he's waiting for that to happen here. And if that happens, well, he needs a back up. And Abduxel makes one mighty fine twink!

But the truth is -- Abduxel is nothing like Jesse. Abduxel's free spirited, polite (for the most part) and a legit demon. Walt isn't stupid enough to think that Abduxel will trust him unconditionally, and he certainly doesn't trust Abduxel. Especially not after finding out Abduxel dove into Chilton's head. But he thinks money is a good enough motivator to at least keep Abduxel's loyalties for now.

He also likes to think that Abduxel does have some humanity to him -- and that some of the moments they've shared have been real in a sort of father-son bonding way. The picnic, for example, came at just the right time when Walt needed someone to kind of take care of him when he wasn't taking care of himself. And he, in turn, wants to take care of Abduxel. Finding out that someone hurt him/was threatening him pushed Walt into a 'I WILL KILL THEM' kind of protective mode. And if he found out it was Crane, then he would very likely bring Abduxel into his fold with Chilton. Team friendship! Aw yeah!!

Walt felt really bad about betraying Abduxel to Chilton and he was very reluctant to do so. But he also has confidence that it won't end that badly. I MEAN WHAT DOES CHILTON KNOW OF ABDUXEL ANYWAY?? Little does Walt know they're seeing each other behind his back. >:[

Lucy is so genuinely nice and sweet and proper. Everything a young lady her age SHOULD be! It's a little strange for him to be talking to someone so polite and old fashioned. There are people he's met here from different time periods, but with Lucy it's quite apparent he's talking to someone far removed from the future.

But he likes her so far. Between Lucy and Kaylee, this is how Walt hopes his baby daughter back home grows up. And I think the more they interact, the more Walt's paternal affection for Lucy will grow since he seems to be all about adopting the young people. >:[ everyone come be his sons and daughters.

Riku is one of Walt's healthiest and most normal relationships here in MoM. It makes Walt feel like a normal guy at times. Hanging out and playing games, talking about life and their problems, Riku offering to help him AND calling him a friend. Walt is shocked that Riku would feel that way about him because he doesn't believe he deserves it. But at the same time, Riku can kind of get what it's like to do things you regret and hurt people you care about, so he thinks maybe they could be each others support system.

For Riku, Walt wants to be a good person. He would try desperately hard to hide anything meth related from him because he likes what they have. Even though it's superficial and Riku doesn't know the real Walt, Walt believes what they have is real enough and it helps him to lead a dual life and pretend like he's not a piece of shit because he has good people like Riku who care about him!!!!1!1

Walt only interacted with her once, and he didn't quite realize what she was. So he just thought she was some weird goth chick who had a funny way of talking about things. And I'm not sure if he saw her network post about being death. Walt kind of avoided the network for a while like the plague. So I'm going to guess that he still doesn't know what she is. But once he finds out, he might have a love/hate relationship with her. 'Don't you have more control than to let the dead come back to life??' and 'So. Can you make my death really permanent this time? :|'

idk if it was ever established -- whether she's the death for the BrBa universe. But I, personally, would be completely okay with saying she was present for Walt's demise. Because that could definitely make things interesting for their future CR!

It's either the father in him or the teacher, but Walt instantly feels the need to be some sort of paternal guide to young people. And Jaime seems like a smart young man with a good head on his shoulders, so Walt is instantly compelled to step into this role of mentor -- guiding him to find the right job, etcetc. He genuinely likes Jaime, and admittedly building side-by-side with him gives Walt all sorts of awful father-son feels -- reminding him of what he would have liked to have with his own son, but what his own son was unable to give back to him because he is disabled.

:[ Jaime's probably unfortunately found himself +1 methlord in his life. But hey. Become his adopted son and earn the perks of having anyone who messes with you disincorporated in a vat of acid. :|b
