TL;DR cr meme

THE TL;DR CR Meme

It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header.
2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

In all honesty, Jesse is probably Kotetsu's closest friend in the game, aside from Barnaby. At this point, Kotetsu's been here for almost a year and a half and Jesse's still one of only two people he's ever voluntarily told about Wild Tiger without being directly confronted about his identity. And he's kept his secret all this time, which Kotetsu really appreciates, and makes him one of the people he trusts the most among the imPorts. He also just generally enjoys Jesse's company and finds him fun to talk to and just shoot the breeze.

The thing is, though, that he worries about Jesse like...all the time. The more he gets to know him, the more he realizes he was right about his initial suspicion that the guy has led a hard life? Like, he thinks about how Jesse's parents kicked him out and cut ties and how he lost the love of his life too and it kind of aches because he thinks of Jesse as a really good guy and he really just wants him to be happy. It frustrates and confuses him a lot how Jesse doesn't seem to agree, and he kind of wants to just shake Jesse by the shoulders like look at all this good you're doing though. He respects him a great deal, and would even just with how he took care of kids at the Heropa Youth Center and then Xavier's, but his healing really puts it over the top. Kotetsu's never going to forget the time Jesse nearly died saving his life, and while he doesn't think of it as a debt to be repaid or anything (because not even he's that hypocritical lmfao) he's always going to be so so grateful and a lil bit guilty about that whole mess. It's also a huge part of why he worries about the other man because power nullifiers have been a Thing they've dealt with more than once and he's always kind of worried that they'll wind up in a situation where Jesse will actually die from healing someone too much and not being able to regenerate.

The other big thing that'll be weighing on his mind from now on is going to be the dreamscape. It's the first time he's realized that there's issues that go way beyond "had a rough life" and he's. feeling super out of his depth with it tbh. Because like, he's known what it's like to be afraid of yourself but it was a very concrete sort of fear grounded in the fact that before he could control his power he was literally a human-shaped wrecking ball. So there's that versus Jesse's dream representation of slowly killing him from the inside out by dint of his very existence and now that he's awake he's just like "wow that's actually really fucked up????". So he's kind of a mix of disturbed and upset on Jesse's behalf and super overwhelmed because he wants to help and thinks someone should help because it's horrifying that anyone would feel that way about themselves, but how and where do you even begin with that? Kotetsu might have been willing to poke his nose into the whole business about Walt and his brother in law, but there's no way he would ever pry about someone's personal mental demons like that unless he was specifically invited to do so. So he's just going to try to hang around and be there for him and hope that can somehow make even a little bit of difference.
