THE TL;DR CR Meme
It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header. It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

If their lives were a Disney musical, this is the song that would be playing right now. Because whether Raina admits it or not, she is in love with Chilton. And it's very likely she doesn't even realize this is what's going on because she has lived her life so immune to this kind of emotion, even kind of scoffing at those who did claim to be in love with one another. It creates such turbulence inside of her because everything is so new and strange. Raina had only ever loved herself before, so she has no idea how to deal with caring so deeply for someone else.
Naturally, this started out as manipulation. Chilton was the very first person she met, and she latched on to him for information, for his status, and for his deeper, darker secrets. She was very interested in awakening his inner monster and unleashing that on the world. But the more time they spent together, the more she found herself starting to believe some of the adoring lies she told him. And Chilton proved himself to be devoted, loyal, loving and attentive. Raina wasn't used to this type of genuine affection, but it proved to be the bandaid she needed to mend her broken confidence from her whole transformation debacle and she became so devotedly his.
What attracts her most to Chilton is his mind, his ruthlessness, his ambition, and the darkness he's got inside of him. She believes he's capable of making anything happen with little more than a few persuasive words. And the fact that he went through what he did at the hands of Abel Gideon and SURVIVED impresses her beyond words. He's a survivor and so is she, and she believes that together, they can survive pretty much anything.
But when it comes to flaws, she knows he has a huge ego and swollen pride. When she was still manipulating him, she had even worked hard to build those things up. But Raina worries maybe that wasn't the wisest decision because in her eyes, it might lead to him straying from her. If he arrogantly starts to believe he can have anyone, then what's stopping him from leaving her? What's stopping her from becoming like all those poor saps whose boyfriends she fucked? Raina had been the homewrecker on several occasions, and maybe it's her destiny to feel the pain of being on the opposite side. But damnit she HATES that he has that kind of power over her.
But speaking of destiny and fate and all that, Raina does believe her meeting with Chilton was fate. Chilton said it best himself. Kismet. Raina's whole life she had only ever wanted to transform into the angel her grandmother always told her she'd be. And then that turned out horribly. She was lost from that point on, without direction and lacking motivation to continue living. But upon arriving in this world, Raina's fairly certain this is what her grandmother meant. That she would come here, that she would meet Chilton, and that she would become his angel.
Angels are guardians and protectors. And Raina will protect Chilton with every fiber of her being. She would die for him if that was what it took to keep him safe. And even though she fears that she feels more deeply for him than he feels for her, for the first time in her life, she's motivated to care about someone so selflessly. And even if this turns out for the worst, Raina's locked in for the ride because until Chilton came along to show her what life could be like with someone else by your side, she never realized how cripplingly lonely she was.
