TL;DR cr meme

THE TL;DR CR Meme

It's that time again and why not start it off with a heart warming and tragic foreshadowing gif?

1. Post with your characters - if you have more than one, make a catch all under one header.
2. respond to other people's characters with your characters.
3. They will tell you exactly what their character thinks of your character in depth! Icly or oocly! Make it long, this is teal deer territory after all.
4. React if you wish!
5. You can use this stuff for cr charts or you can even link to something you have written.
6. This is brought to you by irony from one of the more unfriendly characters in game.

Elton John - "Mama Can't Buy You Love (1979)

Mama don't want you
Daddy don't need you
Give it up baby, baby
Mama can't buy you love

(I'M SORRY. I am also sorry for how disjointed this is going to be.)

Glitch reminds Peter a lot of himself when he was that age. He remembers being cynical and bitter; he remembers having to grow up way too fast because of factors that were way beyond his own control; and he remembers not really getting to enjoy a conventional childhood. (Okay, ages zero to nine were stellar for Peter, but after that? Christ.) What really sticks out to Peter in their interactions so far, though, is that Glitch clearly lacks any sort of guidance -- which makes Peter really feel for him. Peter at least had some adult figures in his life to guide him and teach him. Sure, they were mostly teaching him shit like how to shoot a gun or how to pick a lock, but at least he had someone. He didn't have to depend entirely on himself until he felt ready. It's why Peter makes himself available to Glitch -- although it's with a healthy dose of reluctance. Peter is the first to admit that he's not a great influence, but he figures that if Glitch has no one better available (PLEASE FIND SOMEONE BETTER GLITCH), then Star-Lord can offer his services as big bro.

(Granted, if he knew about Glitch's swindling escapades-- actually, you know what? Peter would be seriously goddamn proud of that fucking punk. Good for you, Glen Coco.)

And because Glitch lacks that parental figure in his life, Peter is actually a lot more forthcoming with details on his mom with him. He's only mentioned snippets here and there about her while he's been in the game, but Glitch is the first person to get a goddamn story out of Peter, as vague as it was. And in all likelihood, he'll get more as time goes on. It's sort of like-- Mom was such an important part of Peter's life, that he doesn't mind sharing his memory of her with Glitch, since the kid needs it.

Anyway, Peter remembers not really getting to enjoy his childhood, which is why he's quick to remind Glitch that he is, in fact, a goddamn kid. He might have turned 16 while he's been in MoM, but that's still legally a minor. There's something to be said for growing up, but there's another thing entirely for growing up too fast. And Glitch is definitely entrenched in the latter camp, in Peter's eyes. So future interactions will probably just be-- doing kid stuff. Or Peter encouraging Glitch to do kid stuff. GO TO A DANCE. CHEAT ON TESTS. HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA. DO EVERYTHING PETER MISSED OUT ON, CHILD.

ugh i dunno it's 2am I'm sorry for how rambly this is. TL;DR Glitch is Peter's little bro and he will get so many noogies.
