Being in MOM is actually the first time that she's been around a majority of people who don't know who she is, what she can do, and thus have no expectations of her. She can be whoever she wants and no one else is around to tell her it's not true. So she's pretty much fallen for the made up story of herself as a bratty middle class girl with an overprotective dad and this whole life she never got to have. Which is good for lying to being because she's got all these lies made up about that now, but is also bad because she doesn't want to give that lie up.

So what she wants really is just to be treated as a person. No having to go back to the world where she's a weapon the government uses to put down superheroes and she doesn't have a future. If that means siding with the government in MOM and beat down or kill a few imPorts, she's all for that because at least they treat her like a soldier who gets to do shit instead of a weapon who is lucky to get let out of her cage.

What are Karen's five biggest regrets?

1. Accidentally helping a version of Luthor out. She was so entrenched in the idea she was going to be happy with her world's Superman and Lois she didn't ever see what Luthor and Superboy-Prime were actually planning. The results of that were a number of deaths, including her Superman.
2. Deciding not to bother with Freddie anymore and then Freddie dying. This isn't her fault, but she doesn't know that and thinks she's fucked up big time with her.
3. Not taking Ted's concerns seriously before he was killed. It... was part of what led to him being killed. THERE'S A PATTERN HERE.
4. She took a mission from Oracle once and at one point had to choose between saving a ship full of civilians or a ship with a president on it. She chose the president which in the end was for naught since she was assassinated by an enemy on her ship.
5. Making out with Hal Jordan.

Would Galatea ever consider a costume change?

She would, if she could find one that she thought fit her. Really, she's keeping the one she has because she got to have a hand in designing it (hence all the cleavage), but she's not so attached she wouldn't take on another one. There is a bit of spite to it too since Karen's is so similar, but differentiating herself would probably win out.
