Lucifer isn't the cause of the near-accident. Honestly, he's not bored enough to get that petty.

He is following Samuel Winchester. Since his arrival he'd been keeping an eye out for any of the Winchesters. Their reputation was such that, alternate universe or not, Lucifer knew they'd show up eventually.

And here was just the brother he was looking for, stronger than ever; even without his elder brother to be a distraction.

"Oh, is right, Sam." Lucifer appears, arms crossed, and far enough away not to be an immediate threat. Sammy is a well-trained machine, after all. "Even I'm impressed."
