What is your character's job?: Radio Traffic Reporter, but also fights in Maurtia Falls Underground fighting ring on the side. His...side job pays way more than his real one.

( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Kaneda is a guy with very simple wants and needs. As long as he can bike around and do what he wants without anyone to really tell him different, he's good to go. He likes exploring cities and getting to know them, any type of sport or running activity, sparring (especially boxing/kickboxing), joyriding, and physical activities of any kind. Sports are a definite yes for him, although he'll default to things like track. He's also a self trained weapons expert, having the makings of his own inventory in the works, and collecting more with each day. He's starting to look into street art with spare paint, customizing vehicles and weapons as well as spray paint art. Cooking is something he's taken up as a hobby too, being able to cook Japanese food pretty proficiently with help from Aunt Cass and others.
What are your character's plans?: Right now his plans are to help Tetsuo return to normalcy and keep Nonah 005 afloat with all its residents. He's kind of looking into making a safehouse/place for imPorts to go to when the government eventually turns in them. So if anyone who had good CR with him wants to kind of plan that out, I have some ideas on how to bring that to fruition.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nope, but he has reduced his name to just Kaneda in canon and erased all traces of Shotaro.
Is your character open for pairings?: He's got a crush on a one Maya Fey.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes! I'd like it planned out and run by me, but I'm always up for injury. Just keep in mind his durability. He can't get hurt as easily as most people, and more often than not he'll walk away from a normal back breaking injury.
Is your character interested in teams?: Kaneda works best as the leader of a team, and he's kind of already forming one, so in a way, yes. He's not much for joining someone else's.
What kind of plots are you after?: Right now I'm after plots that get Kaneda involved in determining what side of the fight he's on. He's pretty much always going to fight for what he feels is right, and kinda waver on the side of illegal, but the fact that he's forming bonds and alliances with people on both sides is hella advantageous to himself and his friends.

I'm also always planning on him getting a full grown bike gang in the works, and it's one of my far off future goals. It'll be Nonah centered, and if you mess with Nonah, you mess with their imPort gang. And with Kaneda having two wins under his belt, that's not a fight you really want to lose.

Anything else?:
This boy is going thru a growth spurt and is going to top out around 5'9". This means he's going to have hunger spikes and eat everything and ANYTHING.

Hi it's been five hundred years since I watched Akira but awesome choice of characters dude! Right now I'm embroiling Kavinsky in criminal shenanigans-- he can produce guns with his mind (dream manifestation) and it'll eventually get out of hand. But he'll have money, and capital, and his main goal with amassing that is to have a safe place to go and escape if/when the Russians (or someone like them) ever come back. If he catches wind of Kaneda's suspicions of the government, I think he'd be really interested in helping out. Primarily to help himself out, but still!

Also motorcycle vs car racing. Or maybe Kaneda could get Kavinsky into motorcycles! I'd be delighted either way, if such CR would be ur cup of tea.

AHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH I've been having such a blast playing him.

For starters, I am 1001% up for motorcycle races/car races I will NEVER turn down one of those.

AS FOR THE SAFEHOUSE it's technically going to be kaneda's place of work so it won't be 'come here any time you're in trouble' (because lol work hours) but if Kavinksky wants to help out with it, he certainly would be told where to go should shit go down, things like that!

Come to Nonah 05 Ichimatsu you can play with the cats for free no joke. ...Also maybe take Ichimatsu to Lucky Cat Cafe to meet Aunt Cass.

Rick is 100% down with helping to build that safe house. He knows all about structures that have to survive the apocalypse, lmao so he'd have a ton of advice over what they can do and how they can make it a safe house from a physical threat.

I was actually thinking Rick would be perfect for this because not only could he help with its defenses but also...

Sabriel is one hundred percent down with adding magical protections to whatever safehouse Kaneda wants to build.

And you know, helping him keep in mind the logistics of making sure there's enough food and water on hand.

Oh man, magical protection is going to be KEY especially with their hatred of Pan still lingering.

It's gonna be disguised as his future job building too, so no one's gonna suspect it's an anti government/evil import safehouse too, he'll totally want help from her on that front.

...And yeah, let's see how many minifridges and economy packs of bottled water we can get in this place.

Nothing super specific, but I'd like them to keep their casual acquaintanceship going and see where it goes! o_o)b

I am LOVING their current CR to be honest--Shepard's kind of like what Kaneda has the complete potential to be if he wasn't so shitty teenager (minus that weird biotic thing) and it's just really great to see them interact ;~;

I'm also loving how Tetsuo is interacting with Kaiden and Kaneda is interacting with Shep.
