So far Ellie has a high opinion of Ruka. She really appreciates the help and the patience she’s had with answering her questions and has started to feel a lot more comfortable actually talking to her. She could see herself thinking of the girl as a friend eventually and has enjoyed the conversations she’s had. She also really feels for her because it’s obvious she’s gone through a lot that’s hardened her, it’s not hard to recognize that in someone. She seems so young too which makes Ellie a bit sad that someone so young has already had a lot of weight put on her shoulders.

At this point she’s actually interested in seeing if maybe she can get Ruka to open up to her some, but she doesn’t want to seem pushy or anything.

Currently Ellie’s thoughts on Kanaya are that she seems nice and practical. She can definitely appreciate practical. She doesn’t have too many feelings in regards to her yet but she appreciates that she’s been so helpful so far and put up with her asking a lot of questions. She also doesn’t really care about the unlife thing beyond being really curious about the details of it but she doesn’t want to ask too many questions because that seems sorta rude. After you’ve seen the crazy crap Ellie has potential vampires don’t really seem that bad, especially since Kanaya hasn’t been anything but nice to her so there’s no reason for her to think of her as a potential threat or anything like that.

She’s also ridiculously curious about the fact she’s an alien because, while Ellie has spent most of her life in space or on other planets, they’ve never met live aliens.

Renee is definitely someone that Ellie could see herself considering a friend in this place. She feels weird thinking about making friends again since all of her previous friends have died horrible deaths, but she feels oddly comfortable around Renee and can’t really help liking her. She also likes the fact that Renee doesn’t really push, she just takes things as they come and lets Ellie be vague if she wants to be vague. She’s also super appreciative of the help that she’s offered her, she thought it was really sweet that she was willing to come home from a long day of her own just to try to help her out with her issues with powers. That in itself has shown her that Renee is definitely a person who cares even if Ellie does also get the distinct impression that there’s a lot Renee keeps inside.

She’s really pretty interested in getting to know her better. If she ever needed help in anyway Ellie would probably volunteer without too many questions.

So far her impression of him is that he’s pretty special and weirdly friendly. Not that she particularly minds friendly people, she just doesn’t understand why he was so friendly because she’s not used to it anymore. Especially when it’s people she’s never really met before. Once she got over her initial confusion about his friendly she’s actually enjoyed their conversation and finds him oddly cute. So she’s curious to get to know him better.

It’s pretty obvious that Ellie never stopped loving Isaac, she just couldn’t take the fact that he buried his head in the sand and shut the world, and her, out. Now that he’s finally gotten his head out of the sand she’s not 100% sure what to do. She does believe that he’s not going to bury his head in the sand again, but she’s also a bit afraid of the idea that he might. Regardless, she’s definitely willing to try things again with him because she loves him. She loves his dorkiness, how much he cares, and she even loves his ridiculous naive nature. In a way she also admires that nativity and how much he cares about other people. Isaac is willing to put his life, other people’s lives, and the mission in danger just to save some people. Ellie on the other hand would sacrifice her life and other people’s lives for the sake of the mission.

Maybe that’s part of why she loves him, he sorta balances her out. He’s her opposite in a lot of ways but he’s also her equal and she’s starting to see that he’s not the guy she has to protect from everything anymore. He’s stronger than he was and maybe she doesn’t have to be so careful with him.

Ellie feels really weirdly comfortable about Alan and he’s probably gotten more of her life story than just about anyone here. After hearing about what he went through she gets the impression that they’ve definitely got the whole “made it through ridiculous shit that was way over their heads” thing going on with each other. Which makes him a bit easier to talk to, knowing that he’s just sort of like her, just an ordinary person that ended up dealing with really not ordinary things. She also likes that he hasn’t really pushed her for more information but has left the door open if she wants to talk about it, that’s something she appreciates. She hasn’t really had people that have offered to talk to her or let her talk in like 3+ years so it definitely won him points.

All in all he’s definitely someone she looks forward to getting to know better and could see herself considering a friend.
