Lust strongly prefers this incarnation of Edgeworth to the last one, for what it's worth -- not because she and he had any personal disagreements, but because he was, you know, young Edgeworth. The fact that he actually thinks her a person of integrity is funny to say the least, and she'll encourage that perception for as long as it will reasonably last, because she gathers that once shit does hit the fan he'll be a formidable adversary. Not in the physical sense, obvs, but in the mental one bc he's like a fucking shark and if he stops pursuit he will literally sink to the bottom of the law ocean and die! By the same token, he's a decent person to have on her side because of that same tireless dedication to seeing justice done, and not at all unintelligent or tedious to speak with. She would kill him without a second thought if it was necessary or personally beneficial, but right now it's neither, so she'll keep playing nice for the foreseeable future! And is kind of buttmad that Mustang is talking to him about ideals and shit because it means he's going to eventually catch on to what a shitty person she is.

Also she thinks the name Seline is great because she has no taste whatsoever so he's at least good for something am I right??? A+ would fluster again
