Gil and Violet!

Though they've spoken three times at most now, Gil still is no closer to understanding Violet and presumes she is (mostly) a product of this generation, which he's admittedly not fond of in terms of etiquette and social customs. He doesn't dislike Violet, but he is frustrated by the lack of regard to her safety and how she dismissed her death as some unimportant tragedy. Some of this is based on selfish reasons, such as Kenzi being dead in her universe, and the fact his life has been mostly defined by tragedy and other terrible things.

He isn't sure what to say to her and if his words will reach her. She comes across as stubborn, somewhat blunt if not outright rude, and jaded about everything. BASICALLY she is a typical bratty teenager and he is not equipped to deal with that properly. He's sort of worried for her, being Gil and all, but overall he doesn't understand her and at this point isn't sure he will.
