Roy's still getting to know Mia, but judging from what he saw at the trial, he acknowledges that she is very perceptive and good at what she does. She seems kindhearted (as was shown in their first interaction and the fact that she smiled at him when he was suffering through the mustache), and has a good sense of humor, but she also seems dedicated to her job, which is something that Roy can admire. Of course, she isn't too bad looking either, so expect some more flirting in the future.
