I did. My father wasn't too happy---he was trying to teach me the value of conserving resources, and those bulky gadgets didn't suit a proper lawyer.

From what I learned from him? Stick to the letter of the law. Defend clients vigorously, but with an eye for the greater community. Complete the mountains of paperwork in a timely fashion.

...so it was a terrible career choice for me, in retrospect. Invention's far closer to my style.
