RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.

What is your character's job?: Up until the SIM plot he was a researcher at StarkTech and Foundation Co-Chairman of the Maria-Francis Foundation. He's since left StarkTech and ... is in transition.

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Well, he's going to need a job or at least some method of income. Right now he's feeling the pinch of the fallout from the SIM plot and having to rebuild some bridges with natives and the government.
What are your character's plans?: Recover trust in the Maria-Francis Foundation and continue to try to work on showing the government and the natives that imPorts and natives can live and work together. imPort equality is part of this.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nope
Is your character open for pairings?: Nah, he's pretty work focused
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: If it comes up in plots, I'm up to discussing it.
Is your character interested in teams?: He was! Then the stuff with SIM went down and now he's re-evaluating that whole 'working with others' idea.
What kind of plots are you after?: Honestly, I'm just taking it as it comes right now.
Anything else?: Charles basically lost almost everything he'd worked for as a result of the SIM plot; as well as a very good friend. He's feeling a little beat down because of it. So he's going to be focused on picking up the pieces for a bit.

I'd love to thread more with Charles, maybe having the two of them talk more about the telepathy and stuff since it freaked Clint out so bad. Wanda hasn't shown that side of her powers much so having someone who can give him a good example of it would be nice.

Please bring me more Clint! Yes, I would be up for all of this and this conversation. Charles can definitely understand the hesitancy that so many people feel about powers of the mind. He would definitely be up for those conversations.

HEY HEY so Kitty here is pretty heavily involved in charity efforts, but avoided the Maria-Francis Foundation because she's also basically a socialist and considered it to be Too Corporate. But now that Charles has gone off on his own, she might approach him to see if he'd be interested in helping her out with any of her charity things. (Especially if he seems down in the dumps. She has a soft spot for sad people.) Any interest?

Major interest for this, both me from an OOC perspective of getting to thread them and also from Charles, since he's honestly got to sort out where he's going from here. He knows ICly about how much effort Kitty has put in (at least from a high level/what's out there publicly perspective) so I'd be very interested in threading them and seeing where those conversations lead them?

copypasta because it's a good summary: Hey there! I'm on hiatus this month, but I'm planning things out for Daryl come November. This month, Daryl is looking for a place to build a secret base/evacuation center for when the shit hits the fan again (like with the Russians, or in case of imPort rebellion, you know, whatever). I'm looking for people he might be able to either contact OR run into after asking around the seedier parts of the cities in early November to help with the building and securing of the facility. While Daryl himself is registered, he is looking more for those who are unsettled and wanting to keep something of a distance from the government for whatever reason.

Would you be interested in having Charles in on this sort of thing at all? While he's not exactly the sort Daryl is looking for, Daryl does feel Charles has a good network of contacts for building projects and might be more open to a less public project following the shit going down with SIM. And Daryl thinks he's probably trustworthy enough.

Ahhh Daryl, you sound like Erik and Raven. ;)

I think Charles would listen and he while he would understand the idea of a safe place for imPort against another Russian attempt, he would probably speak against imPort rebellion. He still wants to hope for the best with people, though he does now have a better understanding of the need to prepare for the worst.

So he wouldn't betray Daryl's confidence and he might suggest Daryl talk to Erik (especially since Erik is the construction guru!) but at this point he wouldn't join in on the efforts himself. He still believes cooperation can be made to work.

Well, at this point Daryl doesn't actually know the Count has plans for it to be used in case of imPort rebellion. That's just one of the eventual possibilities for it. As far as Daryl knows, Dooku wants something to replace Helix Station as an evac point/safehouse. Since he doesn't see it as being 'safe'.

But I'll have Daryl contact him once he has a location selected and we can go from there even if Charles doesn't get in on it himself. :)
