CR MEME!!
How does this work? It's easy!
- ⒈ Make a thread for yourself or a comment with your character's name on it. Reply to that post with your filled out forms for organization's sake.
⒉ Comment to other people! See if their answers fit anything you're looking for and if yours fit anything they are. Don't be intimidated, carpe diem, we like to party.
⒊ Keep checking back! We strongly encourage you to track top-levels even, if possible. We want to make sure everyone gets their fair shot.
⒋ Play nice and have fun!
( THE BASICS )
Name: Your character!
Canon: Self-explanatory!!
Character's (approximate) age: Or how old they appear.
Character's powers: List and describe them!
Is your character registered/will they be?: Why or why not! Maybe unsettled heroes will want to make connections with each other. Maybe registered heroes will want to team up. So on!
Where does your character live?: What housing residence are they in? Meet your roommates if you haven't already, make plans!
Are you looking for roommates?: If your character is currently housing alone, or planning to move out of their assigned housing. Is your character considering moving to one of our other cities? See who else might be doing the same!
What is your character's job?: And are they sticking with it? Enjoying it? Coordinate with potential coworkers, employers, or patrons -- why not!
( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.
What are your character's plans?: Either what they're doing as we speak or what you'd like to do with them!
Does your character have a secret identity?: Since this can get confusing at times. Is your character a superhero with a public identity or do just a few people know who they are? List them, even!
Is your character open for pairings?: Useful to know! Possibly.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: If yes, how much and in what circumstances?
Is your character interested in teams?: Registered hero teams are very well-received around these parts, as you might guess. If yes, coordinate with possible teammates and see if you can put something together!
What kind of plots are you after?: Let the brainstorming commence. This can be as vague, specific, or "big picture" as you'd like.
Anything else?: If you have anything else to add!
The copypasta box:
Saint Walker | Green Lantern: The Animated Series
Name: Saint Walker
Canon: GLTAS
Character's (approximate) age: Early-mid 30s!
Character's powers: Saint Walker is a Blue Lantern! That means that he can fly, make limited constructs, and has some modicum of protection. More importantly, though, he can manifest constructs of what others hope for. If you'd like more information on that last one, I have a permissions post up here!
Is your character registered/will they be?: No, and he doesn't plan on it.
Where does your character live?: Heropa #011.
Are you looking for roommates?: No, but there's room if someone wants to live in spacehaus!
What is your character's job?: He's a yoga instructor instructor. I'm open to changing his job up, though.
( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Saint Walker is generally a skilled counselor, mediator, and instructor of meditation! He's also a good cook, makes his own candles (and occasionally woven jewelry), and plays a lute-like instrument. He's a big old hippie, with an enthusiasm for love and a strong belief in rehabilitation! He dislikes unkindness and cynicism, but generally is able to work with whatever he's given, and has no urgent needs; if need be, he'd be happy living completely alone in a forest with nobody else around.
What are your character's plans?: Continue helping people, meditating, doing charity work, etc. He's a helper! If there's any way that he sees himself being able to provide assistance, he will, in addition to delighting in Earth's splendors and going camping.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nope!
Is your character open for pairings?: Technically yes; I doubt anyone would be interested in that.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: You can rough him up, but he's very, very unlikely to hurt others.
Is your character interested in teams?: Not formally, but he'll tag along!
What kind of plots are you after?: (Same as last time's): Anything! Things that I particularly enjoy with him is him helping others get through emotional trauma and giving counsel, healing others, and using his hope powers to manifest their ~True Hopes~. Fellow volunteers and do-gooders make for fabulous CR, and so do fellow aliens! He's got one of those handy dandy Tragic PastsTM that's fun to play with if it ever comes up too -- he's a childless father, so that's great for other parents and for kids that need some alien dadding going on.
Anything else?: For the upcoming memory-share plot, I'm definitely open to plotting with him! It can either act as a segue for him to know about others' Tragic Pasts, and I'm open to others either seeing him kill some dudes, climb a big-ass mountain, negotiate with genocidal maniacs, see his peaceful planet, w/e!!!

which is to say, would Doc be interested in being shown the ~wonders of nature~?

Which is to say yes, we can totally play around with that! Are you participating in the memoryshare event? Maybe they can contrast their memories.

But I hadn't planned to participate in the memoryshare in any great detail, tbh. I feel there's more development for Victor if he can open up about the traumatic stuff, as opposed to having it played out. How would Saint Walker's power ring react to someone that's pretty much a walking pile of despair? When it comes to making constructs, anyway. I've double checked the description in his journal and what Victor aims for in canon is immensely driven by desire more than anything else.

Anyway, Walker's ring works on even people who claim to have lost all hope unless they're truly hopeless. It would dig deep into the most concealed bits of their heart to materialize what they hope for deep down. If you want to interpret him as truly hopeless, that's fine, but chances are it'll work on something in there.

i mean he'll be terrible at it, but at least the intention is there

but I'm all for it, let's see if he can teach Mr. No Attention Span how to sit still for five minutes
