Plus the ensemble of playable characters is HUGE! So even picking up characters outside this main crew has a ton of possibilities, let's see some of them. First you have some of the other students who get their own plotlines, a few highly sophisticated Death Scythes, Kid's giant goofball of a dad, some adults who you should never trust with anything serious, and the rest of the completely normal faculty, and the cat who spends most of her time looking like this, and Crona who just falls in the middle of every spectrum because Crona.
And those are just the good guys! More inclined to the villain side of things?
Plenty to choose from, between this lovely
leadingwitchy lady (see how wicked cool she is) as well as some other witches and werewolves, oh my. Finally you have the big bad of the series, who is in fact scared of literally everyone and everything, because that's kind of his jam. That, and madness. Personally, I would ADORE seeing any Teen Titans, Lanterns or JLI members aboard, but my tastes are questionable and I love the whole universe; no matter how obscure or prominent your character is, it would be fabulous to see them!!

Ofc I'd die for a Cloud or Zack, but I'd like pretty much anyone! Avalanche bros would especially be loved, but some Turks to mess things up would be fun too. Or maybe even a Sephiroth? Or Aerith's terrible son Kadaj?? Who knows! The great thing about FF7 is there's basically dozens of characters to choose from.
Play a less common character like Yuffie or Red XIII? I've got you covered!

JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE!!!!
Honestly at this point if you're not going to app me a Jojo I'd love if you just experienced the series, it actually makes just as little sense in context as out.
OR YOU COULD BE AN ANGEL AND APP SOMEBODY. Literally anybody. Joestar family members (especially a Giorno or Jotaro) or anyone from Phantom Blood or Diamond Is Unbreakable, I'm not picky! Give me all the Jojos!!

Yuu is the shounen protag from Owari no Seraph. Interested in angst, laughter, vampires and angels, human experimentation? How about viruses? Humans vs vampires? Because that's this series in a nutshell. Thus far, of course. It's still ongoing, at 50 chapters (longer ones, it updates monthly) for the manga and 26 episodes for the anime at present. There is currently only Yuu (me) in the game atm so most the whole cast is fair game at this point, sans a friend interested in Mika. But there's plenty of characters to choose from, between the different factions, whether you wanted to play a human or vampire.
As for Tales of Zestiria, Sorey is the protag, again. He's basically Tales of version of Sora from KH, I guess. Personality wise anyway. He's the most sheltered teen ever who lives with seraphim (elemental spiritual beings who can't usually be seen or heard by humans) until the age of seventeen when he meets ALisha. Alisha being a princess and knight from a nearby city (capital city, of Hyland), come seeking help, to find the Shepherd (a human with the ability to communicate with and channel the powers of these seraphim) to help deal with the issues facing Hyland. When he leaves his home to go off after her, he ends up becoming said Shepherd because of course he does it is a jrpg. He then gathers a bunch of other seraphim aside from his bff the tsun water seraph we know as Mikleo, to help him in his quest to 'save the world'. Along with a fellow human so he doesn't get lonely and seem too hilariously confused and sheltered from everything, the Squire.
The game is full of fun characters, I adore the cast, and did I mention the puns? So many puns. The cast and their dynamics are great.

WANT: like everybody. Bring us your Sailor Scouts, your Precures, your other Mew Mews, the girls from Sugar Sugar Rune, the Ojamajo Doremi kids, the rest of the Magic Knight Rayearth girls because how adorable would Hikaru be as a superhero. App some PMMM girls so they can get a happy ending, jesus christ. Got magical girls from a western canon, I don't care, app in Star Butterfly or the Zodiac Starforce girls. Let's make the game pink and sparkly and magical and defeat the Russians with the power of love.
