01. Your memory is hazy and you might feel increasingly frustrated or anxious, or maybe you're excited as soldiers march past, barely glimpsing you. One second you're somewhere underground, the next you're enveloped in blue light, and suddenly you find yourself directly under Flordia sun's bright and burning glare. A female soldier steps toward you with a wide smile on her face and directs you to a car, ready to debrief you. You realize you are not the only one, surrounded by equally confused or eager faces... and you're all sporting a digital tattoo on your wrist.

02. Welcome to Cape Canaveral, where the smell of the ocean is in the air and locals are more than pleased to see new imPorts roaming their streets. They wave, they cheer, they ask for pictures as politely as they can. The more inhuman you look, or if you're wearing a costume, the more likely locals are to approach. Hey, enjoy the moment! The popular malt shop is offering you a free drink if you need it.

03. The technology in this world is certainly something. The cars are clearly modeled after popular 50s cars, but they hover several feet above the ground as they drive down the street. There are digital jukeboxes in restaurants, motorcycles also hover through traffic, advertisements can be seen on a digital projector on the taller buildings. Even kids on skateboards appear to drift a safe ten feet off the ground while playing!

04. Wherever you are, you can hear the loud revving of an engine, distance at first before you finally see it: a hovercar bursting around the corner, going beyond the maximum speed limit and just barely making its sharp turn. It doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon, not with two police cars trailing it... and uh oh. Those skateboarding kids don't have much time to get out of the way as the car comes speeding down the road. You've been brought here for a reason Hero — so you better act fast.

[ Having her head messed with one too many times, Natasha isn't too thrilled with the prospect that it has happened yet again. There's so much to take in and it appears she's not the only one judging by the murmurs of confusion from others. Taking in every sight she can while being ushered around, she struggles to analyze her situation. Possibly an otherworldly experience, but an address in a business window nearby gives her the information she needs regarding her location. A Floridian zip code coupled with the weather and general atmosphere set her mind at ease. The need to retreat somewhere to survive diminishes a bit as she begins to piece it all together.

She can do this. After all, she's the Black Widow. Taking in a deep breath to calm herself, she flips her hair over her shoulder and follows along.

While this was a knotty problem with no approachable conclusion in sight, Natasha doesn't sweat it once she finds her grounding. Not one to overlook an opportunity, she'll approach any of the others who look equally confused with a hint of distraught in her eyes. ]

Do you know anything about what's going on?

[ If it just so happens to be someone she does recognize, the confusion clears up and is replaced with knowing confidence. An unspoken "You too?" is evident. ]

[Trucy thinks for a moment and then makes a face.]

I'm sorry. I don't know where any of those places are.

They said that people came from all over the place, though... so maybe you're from a different world altogether.

[Totally not bothered by the grumpiness of the lady. Kay is used to grumpiness. At least she stops moving around and striking surprise dramatic poses.]

No, but I'm already carrying a great legacy as a hero of justice. Even before popping up here.

[It's a long story. It has something to do with her dead dad, a lot of uncontrollable laughing, vigilantism, a bumbling detective and a frilly prosecutor.]

[What does that mean?

Dread fills Elsa's heart, and suddenly she knows that something happened, even if she doesn't know what. She remembers that night, all those years ago, when she accidentally hit Anna in the head, and she feels like everything's about to spin out of control, all over again.

The snowflakes are back, but Elsa looks resolute.]

It's alright. I won't see her. [A pause. She rubs her hands together.] It would be best if she didn't know I was here.

[ Yes, thank the God above for that. There's only so much space to dodge in this tiny car. ]

Sounds as if this is going to be one of those stories that would make the car ride go by quick.

[ A gambit on her sanity (because how long can she listen to this "hero of justice" crap before she's driven mad), but maybe she can learn more about the kind of people brought here if she prods a little. ]

[He's known that there were supposed to be super heroes flittering around (hell, that's what they'd called him when he'd shown up, right?) But he hadn't been expecting something quite so...

Colourful. Yeah. That was a good, neutral term for the bright-blue, spandex covered dork hovering in the air, holding a screaming kid above him. And so, situation averted and with all that adrenaline and nowhere for it to go, SHinjiro tilts his head up to shout up at the bright blue guy above him.]

Hey, asshole. Maybe if you put 'em back on the ground?!

[Hey, A-plus for not letting the kids end up as splatter-art, but wow put them back down you blue suited creeper.]

[ Kristoff looks up when the snow starts to fall, because it's still strange, even if he knows where it's coming from. An expression of sympathy is plainly on his face, because, again, she just looks so small and nervous. That's the problem, though. ]

Yeah, because avoiding her worked so well the first time.

[ He tries to balance himself between being firm and gentle, here. Sure, she's afraid. She doesn't seem to understand the extent of what she's done, but he's sure she'd be sorry. Beyond sorry. Still... She hurt Anna. Beyond freezing her heart, even, by shutting herself away. That hurt Anna, too. ]

You need to find a new way. Family is important. You shouldn't keep yourself from her.

[Struggling to his feet, Starscream pushes himself up, giving Elsa a glare.]

Oh I'm perfectly fine, [he says, voice dripping with sarcasm.]

[He looked thoughtful as he listened, his gaze never leaving Armin's.]

It is, indeed. A world without walls, freedom we could have only imagined. [A world that each member of the Survey Corps would give or had given their lives willingly for humanity to attain. Now they had it all here, at their fingertips.]

A visit to the beach is in order then. [Which is said in all seriousness, considering their circumstances back home.]

[She nods, and decides to introduce herself before launching into her story.]

I'm Kay Faraday, the second Yatagarasu, and I'm a thief who only steals the truth. Then I reveal it to all the world!

[ So she's definitely someone Natasha regrets sitting in a backseat with. ]

The three-legged crow or does the name Yatagarasu hold a different significance?

Crematia is just having the fun of her life now. She still has no idea what are the guns doing exactly, but she liked the results. Maybe one day she will spend a quiet day to review the corpses, observing the wounds that took their lives.

For now, however, she keeps flying this way and that, until she decides to land with a heavy thud. Tail lashing out arrogantly, she already destroyed a streetlight, its metal bending over in protest. She already seen several overturn cars, the strange, hovering vehicles. Testing her strength, she picked one up with her jaws and flung it on the other side of the street, noting how much damage it has taken to buildings. Satisfied, she took up another into her jaws and turned a corner, seeing a man crouching over one of her dead followers, stealing his weapon.

She doesn't even miss a beat. With her strong neck muscles and jaws, she tosses the car toward the thief, hoping to see if it might squash him.

[For a good minute there, it looks as if Jaime just didn't hear Shinjiro's shouting. Instead of responding, he gently sets the kids down and lands himself, wings folding back into his suit. One of them, at least, looks overjoyed, but the other, notably younger one looks only marginally more happy than when he was up in the air. Jaime hands over the skateboard, to which the younger kid responds by all but snatching it away and walking steadfastly in the other direction while the older one beams at him and waves before trotting along after him. Which, you know, great. They'd live to play in traffic another day.

Only then does Jaime look directly at Shinjiro as he remarks,] You do know I was gonna put them down in the first place, right?

[handwringing]

A different world? But how is that possible?

[It's bad enough being abducted to a strange country, but even a different world entirely?]

I'm sorry, I'm sure you're not responsible. But this is a lot to take in.

[ Stepping out of a house she likely shares with another, the woman in black pauses to watch the scene. Is that a cat girl carrying a crocodile? Stranger things have been heard of, but: ]

That's against the law.

[handwringing]

[She winces, because she knows it's true, but she doesn't want to believe it. She loves Anna, and she knows it hurts her, but isn't it better that she's safe? That she doesn't have to worry about being hurt just by being around her?

She shakes her head.]

Anna will find her family. She's... [She smiles wistfully.] She's beautiful, and full of life. She'll do fine.

[Her smile falls.] We're better apart. Just believe me.

[And because the flurries are getting worse, and because she doesn't want to have this conversation anymore, she starts to move forward, trying to pass Kristoff to get to the opening of the alley.]

Now, if you'll excuse me, I should... find somewhere to go.

[handwringing]

I'm really sorry about that. It was an accident.

[But that doesn't excuse it, does it?]

Maybe you should get off the ice.

[And leave the alley. Please.]

No. [It's an earnest, if slightly dismissive answer, and he gestures uselessly with a hand, the other returning to nestle in his coat pocket and pick at the worn burrs of wool within. He keeps his eyes on the kids for another moment, watching as they run off to-- I don't know, continue having no supervision whatsoever with their freaking hoverboards. Likely nearly get hit by five more cars.]

You're some guy in a mask grabbing up kids. ,small>[...from danger, but hey, right now he's just deflecting this blue guy's question, not legitimately reasoning things out.

Still, though, he lifts his head slightly to look over the... thing. Hero. dude. A bit more closely.]

...So this's really what the military wants to pay us to do? Babysit kids?

[Sorry, Jaime. Dude's dealing with existential issues and general angst. Gotta direct it someplace.]

[Armin smiles pleasantly and vacantly at the crowd, relieved for Levi's bluntness in helping them get away. He walks with his hands behind his back, quietly taking in as much detail about his surrounding as he can.]

Commander Smith? [Armin's never really met him face-to-face, he barely knows Levi. He should be relieved more from the Corps have turned up, but in truth, it's almost a little scarier this way. This will be a lot to live up to. Humanity's strongest and humanity's hope... and here he is, just Armin.]

How long have you been here?

[Look on the bright side. You only have to put up with her till the car stops. Other people have had to put up with her for a much longer time.]

Exactly. The three legs are really important. [She's not sure if she should tell this lady about the significance of the three legs.]

I can get the hang of this, [he hissed...though Starscream is obviously leaning against the wall and looks like he'd slip at any moment.]

If you could just stop the ice, then we wouldn't have this problem, would we?

[ Kristoff's certainly not going to impede her path out. He steps aside, brow furrowed and a small frown in place. He wishes that he could explain where she's right and where she's wrong, that he could somehow smooth all of this over. Anna is easy to love, and she does have a new beginning thing going on, but... She's also stubborn. It's not like she'll let Elsa go that easily. She wouldn't have gone into the mountain otherwise.

But he probably can't convince the queen of that. He probably can't do anything, because that's just how things have been shaping up lately. ]

Just... Uh. I'm Kristoff. If you need anything, you can come and find me.

Who else do you know by Smith?

[ After that withering remark Levi was quiet for as long as he could hold back without Armin's notice. It was a lot to take in, he knew all too well, and he could make small concessions if it meant one his own could acclimatize more smoothly.

Both he and Erwin had years of experience under their belts; enough nightmares haunting the corners of their waking hours to rob them of their capacity to be surprised. Armin was a soldier of outstanding merit, but young, and what sensory overload he must have been going through understandable. Levi didn't need to be a bleeding heart to know his men. ]

Few weeks - more like four. Enough time to familiarize ourselves with this...country [ It was a strange word "country" ] and to gather information. Place as big as this gives you a shitload of written material at your disposal.
