01. Your memory is hazy and you might feel increasingly frustrated or anxious, or maybe you're excited as soldiers march past, barely glimpsing you. One second you're somewhere underground, the next you're enveloped in blue light, and suddenly you find yourself directly under Flordia sun's bright and burning glare. A female soldier steps toward you with a wide smile on her face and directs you to a car, ready to debrief you. You realize you are not the only one, surrounded by equally confused or eager faces... and you're all sporting a digital tattoo on your wrist.

02. Welcome to Cape Canaveral, where the smell of the ocean is in the air and locals are more than pleased to see new imPorts roaming their streets. They wave, they cheer, they ask for pictures as politely as they can. The more inhuman you look, or if you're wearing a costume, the more likely locals are to approach. Hey, enjoy the moment! The popular malt shop is offering you a free drink if you need it.

03. The technology in this world is certainly something. The cars are clearly modeled after popular 50s cars, but they hover several feet above the ground as they drive down the street. There are digital jukeboxes in restaurants, motorcycles also hover through traffic, advertisements can be seen on a digital projector on the taller buildings. Even kids on skateboards appear to drift a safe ten feet off the ground while playing!

04. Wherever you are, you can hear the loud revving of an engine, distance at first before you finally see it: a hovercar bursting around the corner, going beyond the maximum speed limit and just barely making its sharp turn. It doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon, not with two police cars trailing it... and uh oh. Those skateboarding kids don't have much time to get out of the way as the car comes speeding down the road. You've been brought here for a reason Hero — so you better act fast.

[ She exclaims loudly and finally, though with some hesitation, steps forward as if to pursue her, but stumbles instead. The food she's collected spills to the floor and she drops quickly to scoop it all up like a field mouse harvesting whatever it can find, grumbling aloud. ]

You said Jean and Armin were here. [ If she can find them, they might have some answers to share on this strange situation she — they've — found themselves in. ] Here in this town?

[ Annie turns a little more, watching Sasha scramble. There's so much food here... but her instinct is to understand and appreciate what Sasha's doing, on a more regulated intake. ]

Yes. [ With a squint toward the current position of the sun in the sky, she considers what degrees of helpfulness are suitable. ] At this hour, Armin may be working at the library. I'm not sure about Jean.

[ And not interested in leading her to Erwin or Levi, frankly. ]

It's not far from here by foot. [ Even less so with gear. But having seen all that scrambling... ]

They won't let you starve here, so quit chasing after that stuff. You can have meat at every meal if you want.

[ The fact Annie knows Armin's whereabouts leaves an unsettling feeling in Sasha's stomach, even if anyone else could guess that. She sets back to her feet, holding the food close to her, unwilling to part from it despite the fact she can find more at every corner. It's mind blowing just how much food these locals have to give out. ]

Library... got it. [ A library shouldn't be too hard to find in this outlandish town. Just look for a place with a lot of books, right? ] M-Meat at every meal?! There's no way...!

[ She regards Annie with wide-eyed skepticism. Alright, so these fruits they can grow on a farm somewhere, but there can't be that much meat to go around.

However, it begs more questions pertaining to Annie being here. ]

Then how long have you been here?

[ She has her reasons to need to know where any of them might be, at any given moment. Survival is about knowing who to monitor, and where to avoid. ]

Weeks, maybe. It's been eventful.

[ She stands with her arms crossed over her chest, placing slight emphasis on the word eventful. She continues to say nothing of Reiner. Someone else will fill Sasha in on the details - it's inevitable, unless the Recon Corps group is breaking down around Erwin and Levi. ]
