I would have probably said dragons, but I've had the privilege of meeting them here. And before that, Godzilla or a Kaiju, but those are obviously not fictional anymore.
Can't I just catch them all?

Cthulhu's a good one. Like a bit of Lovecraftian horror, do you? Because "giant and scary" seems to be a theme. Great theme, mind you, not criticising.

What do you think of me?

[Daryl says it in a sad, almost hurt tone. He wasn't trying to be standoffish or hard to read. He just wasn't good at a lot of socializing.]
You're smart, but you make a lot of assumptions and you push real hard for people to listen to you and do what you think is right, but you don't listen back. You just barrel on through. Think you need to slow your roll a little, but that don't make not like you.

I have meds to slow my roll, but they only do so much. If I'm honest, listening is new for me, but if you're willing to be patient, maybe I'll get there?
I mean, I'll totally get there.

[If the guy wanted to try, Daryl wasn't going to nay say that.]

Honesty time: I guess I loathe the faulty impermanence of it, which, okay, impermanence is true of any existence, but the fact that we can lose someone--only to have them return without memories or different or whatever. It seems like it'd be worse than just losing them permanently. Like, Steve Rogers. I liked the guy, but if I had really known him? Then the Steve Rogers Revolving door this place had for a while could have been pretty devastating.
Hate that what happens here doesn't move forward with us, either, like a filler episode in an anime.
