Scenario one: someone wants to serve pickles on a hot dog. How d'you proceed?

Scenario number two: someone has to take the fall for doing something terrible, legally speaking. Let's say... twenty years in prison, something of that sort. You can save someone you care for who is guilty, or someone who is innocent, but you don't know personally. The other one'll twist. Who do you save?

I've never had a hot dog, but I do like pickles. I remove the pickles and eat them, and then say a little prayer in apology for eating the pickles that had touched the pork.

Scenario two's still got too many variables. Who are these people, specifically? What was the crime? Was I involved in any way? Have I got some sort of prearranged business or deal with people on either side?

Okay, this is traditionally where I'd make a scathing comment about pickles being unforgivable, but unfortunately I can't be a flippant dickhead right now, so here we are. If I ever have a hotdog with pickles and you're around, they're all yours.
