Less dickishly: who is the most important person in your life, who isn't a romantic attachment? And why? I mean, whether they're someone from here or someone from your life back home?

Lord Henry Wotton. He was a dear friend and such a formative influence on me when I was younger and a bit more stupid. I literally wouldn't be the man today if I didn't know him.
