Fashion, music, poetry... I started all of it because I had something to say, something that I could only say through art. But all anyone cares about is the goddess. No, not even. All anyone cares about is the song, and how good it feels. That's all anyone ever wants to hear. And I think I deserve to be more than something that exists for the pleasure of everyone else.

Why the mask?

[apotheoppose]

People are always looking at me, whether I want it to not. With a mask, at least I can control what they see. Sometimes what I want people to look at isn't my face, or my body, or anything about what I look like. It's really the same thing as everything I like about fashion and designing clothes and outfits. If people are going to look at you, you might as well put on a show, and tell them what they ought to be seeing in the process.

And, after becoming a god especially... It's a bit like having armor. I like that about it too.
