They had each been through a great deal of trouble and seen their share of violence. Even Sansa, the one that they never would believe would witness the darkness that existed in the world. There was a weariness about each of them now, a mutual struggle that they could each recognize.

Perhaps in time, he would tell Arya of his struggles as well. It was no great hardship to tell her what was weighing on his mind or that he had died. Much like Sansa, he imagined she'd believe him.

He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Not exactly a surprise. It's where Sansa and I are staying. Where you are staying too."
