13. I haven't met a lot of teenagers yet, but I haven't been around much, either...

Ah, then that explains it. Yeah, this may be the first time I've spoken with you too. Just know there are plenty of teenagers around. Most a little older than you, but there has to be some around your age too. Just gotta find them!

Oh... oh, good. I just hope they like me. ... back home, most people my age think I'm weird.

Why would they? You seem perfectly normal to me.

If not normal, then you seem like a very sweet person. Definitely one of the best reasons to befriend someone, I think.

Well, thanks for saying so. I guess my classmates think I'm weird 'cause I kinda have my head in the clouds a lot. I daydream and I write fanfiction and I don't go out of my way to try and be conventional.

Although, I'm not sure what a fanfiction is? Can you tell me a little more about it?

I never thought so- and neither does my family. Well, my siblings tease me sometimes, but that's a sibling thing, I guess.

Uh, well, I like a lot of shows and movies and books back home and I like to write my own stories about the characters.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Isn't it another way to show your appreciation for the stuff that you enjoy?

I'm the oldest and have a younger brother and sister.

I think so, but I guess other people think it's weird.

Lucky! I wish I had younger siblings to look after.

Why? You'd think it would be something everyone would understand in wanting to do.

It's nice. My siblings are my best friends. Since we all grew up helping in my dad's restaurant, we're used to each other. I mean, we do have friends, but we're closest to one another.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they think it's weird. I mean, people watch those shows and movies and read those books, so writing about them feels like the next natural step.

Exactly! It makes perfect sense to me too. Wonder why they think its weird if all of that stuff came from someone else's imagination too.

Gene's 11, and Louise is 9, so... 2 and 4 years.

Maybe it's because most of my fanfiction is erotic...

[Which makes her a little envies considering she only had a good relationship with her third older sister while a distant one with her other two older sisters due to their difference in age.

Mmhmm. It might be harder if we were further apart, but we're at a good age range. We all go to the same school still, I won't be moving up to the high school til next school year. Or, well, I will be if I ever go home.
