CONFESSIONS MEME

1. Post a comment with your character spilling their confessions and innermost thoughts for all to see
2. Go around and comment to other characters ICly, expressing shock, awe, disgust, anger, etc.
3. Discuss, accuse, commiserate, threadjack, etc.

I definitely will. Now you have me curious about it.

I guess. I'll have to figure it out. I don't know if I know many women who are into their own gender. I know a lot of guys who are though. Doubt it's the same though.

[And before her mind begins to go on a spiral over the matter, she'll perk up at his reassurance over it being okay to like a girl. A smile will appear at the thought since...the idea of same sex relationships was considered a sin in her world. Not she cares about those issues.]

Thank you! It's good to hear that it's okay to. I'm still new to this sort of stuff and all. [And without thinking.] The feeling is mutual on my end too! I won't stop treating you as I always have just because of your sexuality.

You've got time to figure this stuff out. There's no rush. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, these things usually work themselves out one way or another.

I'm not great with this stuff, but I got better at it after my friend Brian came out as asexual and aromantic. Sorta made me realize these things don't change who a person is, I guess. And thanks. I'm not looking for love in any direction at the moment, but the thought's appreciated.

I really hope so.

Asexual? Aromantic? [A slight pause.] ...somehow the second one doesn't sound like a sexuality. I would've thought it was a name for an air freshener. [Maybe she shouldn't have said that, even in a whisper, but it was the honest truth on her part. No way was an attempt at humor.] I don't blame you neither on that front. Romance isn't a necessity, I think. I only became aware of the thought of it after meeting my husband. And even then, he always complain over how unromantic and uncute I am.

[She just never thought of romance or liking someone or anything like that when her goal was to become a rain summoner. All that stuff was left in the back-burner of her life and still is.]

Someone who is asexual isn't sexually attracted to anyone. Some asexual people still fall in love with people because there's more to love than sex, so they'd technically be 'asexual heteroromantic' or 'asexual homoromantic' or something like that. Aromantic means he doesn't fall in love with people. It's just not how his mind and heart work.

Your husband sounds like a jackass. Nobody should tell their wife they're unromantic and uncute - and last I checked romance requires at least two people. Maybe he should try upping his own level of romance. [What a douchebag.]

T-That's a lot to take in....

[She was so very close to asking over the way his friend's mind and heart works if he didn't fall in love with people, but decided to leave the discussion for another day. The future really was unique in discovering new ideas.]

.....please don't ever say that to him. The part about upping his game. There's no need for that.

[Let's not have him be more of a precocious brat than he already is! If he did any more, she just knows her heart won't take it. His teasing was bad enough!]
