How does this work? It's easy!

Where does your character live?: What housing residence are they in? Meet your roommates if you haven't already, make plans!
Are you looking for roommates?: If your character is currently housing alone, or planning to move out of their assigned housing. Is your character considering moving to one of our other cities? See who else might be doing the same!
What is your character's job?: And are they sticking with it? Enjoying it? Coordinate with potential coworkers, employers, or patrons -- why not!

RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.
What are your character's plans?: Either what they're doing as we speak or what you'd like to do with them!
Does your character have a secret identity?: Since this can get confusing at times. Is your character a superhero with a public identity or do just a few people know who they are? List them, even!

Character's (approximate) age: 18(ish)
Character's powers: Scarab powers! With his handy dandy AI, he has armour, shapeshifting, tracking powers, and can do a lot of zapping and punching and chatting with technology. Check his journal if you want a more exact run-down!
Is your character registered/will they be?: Yes/Yes.
Where does your character live?: Heropa 015.
Are you looking for roommates?: I believe there's one vacancy, but I'm not actively looking!
What is your character's job?: Mechanic / College Student (in September)

( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Jaime's a big old nerd. When he's got free time, he likes consuming media, particularly when accompanied with a friend -- books, games, movies, tv, etc etc. are all fair game for him. He also has a symbiotic, semi-homicidal, ancient AI implanted in his spine named Khaji Da - Khaji can be interacted with, for any robo pals! He's also trying to improve at the whole hero schtick after about 500 things went wrong back home. Look at what you did, DC Comics. You gave him anxiety.
What are your character's plans?: Jaime's going to college in September for Psychology with a bent towards trying to help his fellow imPorts! Otherwise, he's continuing on his hero gig, trying to take care of his people, making new friends, and keeping his nose to the grindstone. He's also trying to be the best probation officer he can be! He's also a member of the newly formed Justice League. Additionally: he is the reluctant trainer for kid superheroes, if you're interested in that!
Does your character have a secret identity?: Yes, as the Blue Beetle.
Is your character open for pairings?: Y, given patience & development!
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: He's tough to hurt, but I'm open to plotting it out!
Is your character interested in teams?: N, he's taken.
What kind of plots are you after?: Anything! I'd love for him to make some more close friendships with people more in his age bracket (18-24, let's say), more chats about superheroes and the repercussions, bringing to light some repressed issues, mentoring... you know the drill! For those who are interested, I'd also love to play with Khaji Da, his AI, a little more! He's an angry little shit of a thing who's learned what friendships mean, with the only problem that he needs people to come to him, not the other way around.

I feel like they had potential for more at least given their last thread even if it likely left Jaime very ????? over it and Yuu's situation. They're around the same age, since Yuu would be....eighteen come mid October given how long he's been around by now.

I'd also welcome Khaji raising alarms because of the vampire thing even if Yuu has no intention of feeding from humans any time soon if he would pick up the baby vamp as a threat to Jaime's person.

YES, he certainly knows a lot more about Yuu now! He's unlikely to bring it up, but it definitely gives us some new dimension to their CR, so they should like HANG OUT IN PERSON. I don't think Khaji would raise any alarms - vampires are low on the threat chart - but they should see each other anyway. What's Yuu up to these days?

Definitely. Even if he probably confused the heck out of Jaime. Good luck trying to counsel this idiot with his issues, Jaime. But ah good. Khaji he can play nice, really.

Yuu's mostly been trying to cheer up Nike after the clone mess and wondering why Krul is spending more time away from their apartment than usual at the moment. Along with lessons with Charles on dealing with new vampire powers when Mika isn't helping him. Trying to figure what to do without classes, in looking into the orphanage idea. Debating between helping RISE or Dooku because he clearly has the best influences poking at him even in game. When he isn't being pestered by a gaggle of kids to show off/play with them anyway. Jaime's free to join him if he wants for whatever, really.

HMMMM hm hm. Do you think he'd do any visiting of middle schools to try and gauge the populations there/talk to teachers about possible kids w/o parents? Jaime will be visting one on his ward's behalf there, and it could definitely spark some fun conversations.

Hrm. I guess he could? It could be a start anyway, on him learning about the kids in the system here and what they want/need. So that could work as an idea to throw them together again.

I feel like the easiest ways for it to come out would be:

1) Kaneki in danger and Jaime reflexively trying to save him even though Kaneki is obviously MEGAPOWERFUL
2) just sheer accident, what, no, you didn't see him transform, that was someone else
3) If he got hurt, he'd, y'know, WANNA HEAL HIMSELF
4) power nullifiers????

Hey there! I was really excited to see a tag from Jaime on that picnic log (which I will finally be getting to tonight). I definitely think they could have some interesting CR. If Jaime is interested in psychology, well-- boy does D33 ever need to see a psychologist. He'll have a hay day with that one.

He's not interested in Psychology on its own so much as he wants to go into it so he can help his pre-existing friends (and damaged, damaged community) to the best of his abilities - he's definitely dealt with some psychologically unhealthy folks that he couldn't help before! But!! He would definitely want to help out D33 anyway, so I look forward to seeing where that goes.

Yes, I'd love to continue it too! I'd definitely love to have Charles have a conversation or two with Khaji somewhere down the line as well. c: so let's definitely continue having threads, especially since Jaime and Erik are so close.

i am volunteering both barry and raven as tribute to jaime! sorry our threads have petered off, that's my fault on my end. i'd love to rekindle things! maybe barry can help jaime with the whole chatting about superheroes and the repercussions of it, considering how his entire life was shaped by his villain, and perhaps raven would be a great friend to him! and give you a reason to bring out his AI, she seems to be befriending those despite having had a bad experience with one.

We should have Barry and Jaime chat at the next justice league meet for sure (I think that's been postponed to next month), and LET'S DEFINITELY BRAINSTORM RE: RAVEN AND KHAJI.
