RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: What are they good at, what do they hate, what do they need (and so on) so that others know what they can offer you.

What is your character's job?: Owner of :RE Café aka Cannibal Café
( THE DETAILS )
RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?: Kaneki Ken used to be a human who was turned into a ghoul - a cannibalistic humanoid species - by a psychotic doctor. He went through a lot of tragedy, torture, abuse and trauma, and has mental illness which includes PTSD, hallucination and personality disorders involving abandonment issues, parental issues, paranoia and so on. He lacks self-worth and self-esteem, and due to his abandonment issues and how he has been abused and beaten down since a child, he often tries to befriend people and get close to them, but still doesn't think he is worthy of these people so he also pushes away at the same time - thus he tries to protect them and keep them safe, save them and fight for them, in order to show that he is worthy of them.

What are your character's plans?: Kaneki is currently involved in investigation missions: Heaven Scent, imPocreats, Lachesis.
Does your character have a secret identity?: Nope
Is your character open for pairings?: Yes. I'm also open to polyamourous ships!

Is your character interested in teams?: Yes
What kind of plots are you after?:
METAPLOT INVESTIGATION. Any plots involving the metaplot of the game and ~Investigation partiiiiiies~
PEOPLE EATERS. Cannibals and vampires and similar
MURDERS AND PROVIDERS. Murders or people with access to bodies (kaneki does not ask where you got the body and in fact he doesn't want to know). Kaneki doesn't hunt for himself AND if you are willing to give it to the cannibal café, he'll gladly take it from your hands
HACKERS. kaneki is already learning how to hack from Darlene and MK, but I'd love more people to give him a lesson!
SCIENTISTS. Anyone who'd be interested in studying ghoul biology (sort of) to help Kaneki will his current health problems.
TRAINING. Training, sparring, teaching people any kind of fighting abilities. Kaneki is AMAZING at hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting styles. He would also use his kagune too, if anyone wants some really serious fighting.
MOTHER-HEN. Kaneki tends to adopt kids and put them under his wing and protect them forever. In canon he had 8. So he will take good care of you, listen to all your problems and try to help like a good mom. Also cook for you all the time.
FAMILY. He tends to get close to adults (older adults) who show him kindness. Kaneki has a lot of daddy/mommy issues and usually searches for a mom /dad in other people. FAMILY TIMES, such as cooking and doing other slice of life stuff is awesome because he rarely gets to do those.
FRIENDS. JFC Kaneki needs friends. Normal friends. He has no one to confide in, he has no one to talk to, and he really REALLY needs someone who would befriend him and bring him out of his shell.

Gemini has a tendency to leave a trail of bodies, and to avoid those leading to her she needs a disposal service. If she catches Ken eating a body then she'd have a lightbulb moment and approach him with an offer.

Laurel could use some hand to hand combat training to keep up on her skills, so I think this is something we can work with and build more CR upon.

kaneki used to mentor 4 kids back home and had a whole class under his care, so he is a really good teacher when it comes to combat training! He'd gladly help Laurel with that :D

Klavier's studying to take the bar exam in September. If we want them to meet in person, he's happy to support imPort businesses, so it's possible for him to park at Kaneki's cafe with a pile of law books during at least one or two weekends leading up to that!

and yeah! that would be really cool! Kaneki studies a lot about a lot of things, but he never took a look at law because IT'S COMPLICATED VERY, so he'd probably look over Klavier's while he studies!
