RUNDOWN -- what are your character's skills, likes/dislikes, urgent needs?:

Skills: Hand to hand combat skills, use of tonfas, excellent lawyer, loyal and caring friend
Likes: Coffee, friendship, animals, people, justice
Dislikes: Liars, betrayal, injustice, people who break her trust
Urgent needs: Friendship, coffee, people to train with, a good laugh now and again

What are your character's plans?: To open a place aimed at giving people advice on the law, representation and what have you. At a low cost for those who can afford it and free for those who can't, but she'll take it on a case by case (get it?) basis. Laurel just wants to help people. She'll likely get involved with more community work so if anyone has that going on please let me know!
Does your character have a secret identity?: Yes! As the Black Canary
Is your character open for pairings?: Absolutely! Laurel is a person with a lot of love to give and with the right build-up she could open up to someone.
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes! If it's a serious injury/death we'd need to discuss it first
Is your character interested in teams?: Yes, she's already part of the in-game Justice League

What kind of plots are you after?:

- Sparring! Please someone train with her and help Laurel to hone her skills. She's not afraid to get knocked down because it will only make her stronger
- Community work! As said above, I do want to get her more involved in helping people out, not just with the law but with other things too
- Villain encounters? She's technically a vigilante but Laurel wouldn't be happy with those who intend on harming others, be it through intimidation or violence

I've been getting into a bit of groove with Laurel and feeling more positive about her place in game/CR. I want to keep this up!

I think that Steve and Laurel have similar fighting styles so maybe having someone like that to test her skills against will be beneficial!

Law and justice is Klavier's JAM!! Aside from some power-amplifying abilities he can use to boost allies, he's useless for combat (though I'm debating on whether he'd eventually want to learn some basic self-defense due to imPorts being a magnet for trouble), but he's on his way to becoming a prosecutor, and he's a genuinely good guy who wants to help out however he can.

Maybe we can have these two bump into each other sometime?

Oh, absolutely!

She's an Assistant District Attorney back home and well, misses flexing her lawyer skills. Coming across another person who likes law and justice can only spell things for Laurel. Especially if they like helping people!

Get on those self-defense classes! You never know what'll happen!

Where would he typically hang out?

He lives in Heropa and is currently studying to take this world's bar exam, so for the next several weeks he'll be hanging around different coffee shops and diners with a stack of books. Aside from that, he currently works as a DJ at techno club, and is still getting settled into his life in MoM, but anything music-related is also bound to be a good bet.

What about Laurel?

Laurel divides her time between coffee shops (funnily enough) her job as a florist and research. She also has been known to help out at the clinic in Nonah on occasion. Aside from that, Laurel can be found in a gym or some other kind of training facility.

She isn't really a club kind of person, but when she does go out, it'll probably be for dinner or lunch.

Coffee shop might be the best place for them to meet?

What is your character's job?: Shop owner of Herodotus Antiques/Occasional thief

Skills: Handy with a firearm, picking locks, sneaking, manipulation, charming, organised
Likes: Cats, money, interesting people, alcohol, thievery
Dislikes: People who seek to do harm upon her, getting one upped on, demons, being open about herself
Urgent needs: Security, money, reliable people, the occasional one night stand

What are your character's plans?: To build upon her network in Maurtia Falls with the possibility of extending it beyond the city. Pull off a few more heists, try to make more friends. Learn self-defence so she doesn't always have to rely on others to protect her
Does your character have a secret identity?: Bela is part of the Constellation, but more on the fringes of it
Is your character open for pairings?: Yes! There's always a possibility of one of her (many) flirtations/flings could end up in something more committed
Are you open to having your character get hurt? Or, for villains, hurt others?: Yes! If someone wants to do something with this, please let me know!
Is your character interested in teams?: Yep! See above.

What kind of plots are you after?:

- Self-defence! If any kind soul out there wants to teach Bela how to punch please comment! Or with a weapon other than a gun
- Heists! More money, more problems! Someone coming across her in the act and for Bela to brush it off
- Allies/friendship! Bela has the potential for good, even if it is self-serving at times. She's developed in game and become a much better (if still a little morally ambiguous) person. I want to explore that more and it would conflict with the 'on my own side' thing she’s got going on

Anything else?:

I've been toying with this for a while now and I think I am going to canon update Bela until the end of her run. Maybe not this month but I want to shake things up for her. Have Bela realise that all of her planning to get out of her deal was for nothing and she didn't win. I think this would have a very interesting impact upon her when she returns to the game.

But as I said, it's in the preliminary stages.

Spooky would still like to visit Bela at her antique store, if you're open for friendship/ally stuff. Since his combat abilities are mostly magic-based, he can't help much with the combat training, but he's a kind soul with a lot of love to give, and he's always looking for ways to support other people.

They can always talk about magic-based stuff, given the kind of world she comes from. I think it would be good for her to have someone like him showing some kindness, even if it's something small :)

you got me while i was asleep! i'll tag barry into it once i'm home from work! he's from flashpoint, before the episode really kicks off; i admittedly don't know where the arrow timeline sits with that, if he knows laurel's dead by then (i don't think so?) but if you want, we can make up some stuff about flashpoint laurel bc i don't buy that barry sat on his ass for 3 months and didn't look into finding out where the people he knew happened to be.
