DAILY ROUTINE / HANDWAVED CR MEME



While we have our handy dandy bimonthly CR meme, this is a CR meme of a slightly different variety! This is strictly for your characters' daily routines and any kind of CR that's handwaved away.

1. Post a top-level with your character, detailing their daily routine - where they work, where they live, what they do, whatever you like
2. Comment to others and plot around with how your characters would run into each other
3. Comment to others you already have CR with with what they do with each other on a regular basis

EXAMPLE 1:

PLAYER A: My character works at a pizza parlour, frequents brothels, has a bad ping-pong addiction and frequents all the senior homes for RAD COMPETITIONS.
PLAYER B: My character just happens to be a pizza-addicted TABLE TENNIS CHAMP, let's have them compete and run all of the poor old people out of their own homes.

EXAMPLE 2:

PLAYER A: My character is a kleptomaniac television producer who spends all of their time stealing food from the actors and giving it to the poor.
PLAYER B: I know that, and I love you. We already have CR. I think our characters 420 BLAZE IT every Sunday.
PLAYER A: CORRECT.

✺ spends a lot of time eating in Heropa, near the boardwalks and beach. it's his favourite string of places to eat.
✺ spends a lot of time in the Maurtia Falls Library, so if you like to read, you've probably bumped into him there.

- goes flying because he can and has wings, or finds a random roof to sit on and look at the stars cause he misses flying. also can turn totally into a bird but looks like a regular bird, nothing special.

- Occasionally hangs out in local coffee shops, making observational notes, drinking hot chocolate generously spiked with espresso, and hoping that noone will question why an 11-year-old kid is drinking espresso
- Can often be seen attempting to walk Magnus's giant dog, Uncle Jesse, around the neighbourhood (it never works, Angus just gets dragged everywhere)
- Practices magic in the backyard with Taako and Tina
- always stays up way too late either reading books, making notes for investigations, practicing magic in his room, or some combination of the three

- Frequents the library, and the parks where he plays with the kids afternoons or during weekends sometimes.
- Looking into social work and studying around that, so. Students at university might see him around.
- Still seen buying snacks for friends or the kids even if he doesn't need to eat any more.
- Much more of a night owl now. Frequently seen outside at ridiculous o' clock watching the stars.
- Has enhanced strength so if something is broken, it might be his. Baby vampire is more used to it by now but might still overdo it on occasion.
- Also, speed. Which might make him seem clumsy at times. Oops.
- Generally tries to avoid crowds. Mostly because of the vampire thing. Or at least, he likes to be prepared and fed in advance for dealing with it.
- Frequently trains probably somewhere more out the way, in attempting to adjust to said speed and strength, and. Actually will need a new weapon now. So that'll be a Thing. Asking who is going to hook him up with a new sword.

REGGIE MANTLE

- has a rep for being that one student you go to when you want something forged or when you want someone to lie to your teacher over the phone but can't do it yourself. very friendly, will take food as payment for her services.
- is from the 80s and will not let anyone forget that. guess who's bringing back shoulder pads? This Girl.
- Kay signed her up for therapy sessions with Chilton once o o p s.
- seriously pls someone get her some therapy.
- can be seen around the other cities when school lets out writing in a diary. do not look over her shoulder while she is writing. she'll fight you.

FOGGY
- lives in Maurtia Falls #8 with Theon and Tefé. yes, the one that got egged one time. it doesn't smell like egg anymore!!
- works as an insurance claims investigator for imPort-related causes. I have no idea what that means but I assume it involves a lot of traveling to the other cities so he can sigh deeply at imPort shenanigans and also clearly fraudulent claims.
- uses this sometimes to actually investigate things.
- also provides legal advice for pastries bc he doesn't have a license to actually practice law until like. February. is using this to establish connections in Maurtia Falls to lean on if there's any trouble brewing.
- dating Hartley "Piper" Rathaway, kind of, does not actually know about Piper's past as a rogue. w e l p, Matt is rubbing off on you.
- has plans in place to start a law firm.
- knows where all the best bakeries are in Maurtia Falls now.
- is not too shabby at fixing stuff and will totally fix your pipes for you if you need him to.

HAN
- lives in Heropa #18 with Elena.
- is a taxi driver who frequents the other cities a lot, smuggles contraband on the side. and now you know why his cab might occasionally smell like weed!!
- has a rep in Maurtia Falls for being a v good smuggler but also being Super Picky about his jobs. seriously. what the hell man. what kind of standards are you holding these small-time criminals to, jeez.
- won't leave his friends alone??? calls them up at 3 AM to rant about stuff. what the hell dude.
- will absolutely camp out on your lawn if he's concerned about you. call the cops on him.
- internally screaming at the Star Wars cast.
- also one of his superpowers is getting inadvertently teleported when someone shit-talks the Millennium Falcon. works as a great way to summon him when you need him, has also led to some really embarrassing situations.

• has a large pet snake named Malina he was gifted a year ago, often (but not always) takes her out with him around his neck when he goes out (his body can generate a ton of heat, so it's fine).
  
• semi-regularly attends church (Catholic) although he mostly just sits silently and intensely in the back.
  
• doesn't drink. tries to avoid bars/places with a lot of booze or anywhere otherwise relatively flammable for probably obvious reasons.
  
• he just kind of wanders around sometimes doing whatever, wherever? like not aimlessly per se but he doesn't have too concrete a routine because he's so #done he mostly decides what he's doing on a day-by-day basis.
  
• can, however, occasionally be seen checking out classic muscle cars or helping out lowriders/latinx teenagers with mods, sometimes around tattoo places or pawn shops, but also just wherever.
  
• he doesn't carry a gun these days but does carry a switchblade and is pretty handy with it-- not that he ever needs to use it but uh, could probably teach someone how to use one if they need it.
  
• or other ex-banger type knowledge that would be useful to anyone; dressing/stitching up wounds yourself, digging out bullets, homemade tattoos, general "how to___" without putting yourself at risk with the cops. various things.

• probably sued the ambulance that hit him his first weekend here, w/e I SUCKED AT TAGGING IN OCTOBER BUT, ASSUME THAT HAPPENED.

• the guy he was sort of seeing (Iwai) just got ported out so, he'll probably a little overdramatic and reboundy over that at least for a couple weeks.
  
• he doesn't advertise it but for people who would be able to tell...?? he's a cyborg now in that he has bionic legs (he was paralyzed in an accident a few years back so he has a battery pack in his lower back that allows his legs/feet/pelvis to work now, the bones being replaced by robotic ones) and also bionic hand, since his real one was bitten off by a carnivorous plant, and unlike his legs, this prosthetic is more visible. though he usually wears a black glove to cover it.

-Moved to Nonah to live with his not!boyfriend, Goro Akechi.
-Goes to school like a good boy except the week after haunted house shenanigans
-Plays football in the Heropa high school team until Archie and Reggie snipe him for IMPORTBALL
-Works at :Re Cafe for Kaneki pretty much full time except the week after the haunted house because he was basically sitting in bed that whole time
-does some crimes for fun mostly. I'm talking breaking into places to see if he can, pickpocketing rude people, that kind of thing. Nothing actually harmful outside of people missing a few bucks.
-Tends to go for walks around each Porter city in the evening hours.
-Absolutely is scoping out anyone who looks suspicious, in hopes of finding Bad People to Steal Hearts from(and I need to make a powers post to go into detail about THAT at some point.)

DIO BRANDO
-Lives in Maurtia Falls apartment housing
-strictly nocturnal, but can be seen out at every hour of the night
-works as a lawyer in his own firm next to the Maurtia Falls library, thanks to Petyr Baelish, and has been thinking of entering politics because of the same man
-Is laundering money for Petyr Baelish as well through use of a mind-controlled Patsy, selling off gold that is illusioned to look like the real thing.
-A member of Constellation, though he is mostly a lurker right now, and he is looking to scope out some truly evil people to join him later in an Evil League of Evil, though he has yet to tell anyone about this.
-loves to drink and party, can be seen in dance clubs and on some occasions strip clubs. If he's feeling fancy, he might even go to a casino, but he cheats with his Time Stop powers.

HAJIME SHINO

✿ Is currently not going to school!! Feel free to label him a truant or heckle him for not going because he's clearly a teenager!!
✿ He's learning to ice skate by renting skates and trying it out himself. You will see him fall a lot at any local ice rinks.
✿ Serial coupon cruncher. He's not so disorganized that he keeps people waiting in line but he probably does have a coupon for every occasion and you will find him looking through those coupon books.
✿ He can be seen taking photographs of nearly everything, though he won't take pictures of people he will take pictures of where they work.
✿ He loves flowers and you will find him stopping by florists and wandering through public gardens often.
✿ LOVES STARGAZING, he might be out kind of late at night when a kid his age shouldn't be to watch the stars.
✿ Works as a VA for a children's cartoon, he's kind of shy but would be more than willing to make connections in the industry.
✿ Currently looking for a pet!! You'll find him in and out of pet shops, maybe visiting a few times a week, looking at everything from fish to cats.
✿ Sinceeee a day or two ago he's become (or will become) a regular at :Re Cafe.
✿ Anyone who spends a lot of time at a library will find him reading and taking notes with stacks of books that are probably too tall for him. They're mostly music-related, but some are cooking and cleaning, some are industry-related, and some are pet-related.
✿ For anyone in Heropa, if you hear someone singing (especially in residential), it might be Hajime. Thankfully, his powers are tuned down, but his voice is very sweet and gentle.
✿ He has probably gotten mugged and saved at least once. LMK if that's a CR opportunity for you.
✿ Generally speaking you'll find him doing a lot of weird stuff that costs little money to no money to occupy his time. He may or may not stop and look longingly at things in a window.
✿ He will visit other cities, but that's rare and it's usually because of some kind of free attraction (parade, exhibitions, etc)
✿ He may or may not just walk out of the house with dust or dirt on himself from cleaning if no one stops him. He can't see all of his sides in the mirror, after all.
