I'm tryin' to let go of all that dumb self-flagellation bullshit so I can move on with my life and be who I want to be.

...That said, I did almost literally end the world. Maybe other people here have been through or seen worse, but I'm never, ever going to treat that like it wasn't the giant thing it was. I shouldn't whine about that the way I do. I'm trying to find a balance, but it's not easy. Bear with me.

I never saw the things those people you hate did back home, but I'd still avoid them if you told me, anon. Just-- look, I know it's stupid and I'm not sayin' when I do it I'm doing the right thing, it's just... somethin' I'm trying to work on. I know there are people here who have done worse than me, that there's people here who probably killed others with a smile on their face. That doesn't make my own mistake any better, though.

When I tell people it's because I feel like when people have come from worlds where there's people who have tried to end it on purpose, they should know. If people don't want to associate with me because of what I did, even if I'm trying to be better, then that's their choice. They deserve to know.

Besides... what I did fucked me up, so sometimes I'm not gonna be able to act like a normal person about it. Sometimes I'm gonna be really bad about it and try to ruin friendships where I think I don't deserve them, because my self-control is pretty shit at the best of times. That doesn't make it any better or excuse it either but... it's how it is. I'm not gonna get over this overnight.
